Dai Gyakuten Saiban: 5th issue of the Randst magazine available, character popularity poll

Randst Magazine

In June, Capcom detailed its plans for the Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken DLC, which are basically the same as those for Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Every week, Capcom is going to release a new issue of the Randst Magazine (a name inspired by the Strand Magazine, in which the Sherlock Holmes stories were first published), with new extra scenes, concetp-art, music, and more.

Dai Gyakuten SaibanLast week, Capcom released fourth paid issue, which is available separately (300 Yen) or part of a bundle with all issues (2 000 Yen). And today, they released the fifth paid issue of the Randst magazine, which includes:

– a short episode
– a Nintendo 3DS Theme featuring Sherlock Holmes and Iris Watson… as plushies!
– a commentary video with Shu Takumi (Director), about Episode 3
– concept-art for Kazuma Asougi, with voice clips (including unused voice clips), beta music and more
– more…

Here’s some pictures for this fifth paid issue of the Randst magazine:

Character popularity poll

Over the past few days, Capcom held a special campaign on Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken official website. Basically, fans had to vote for their favorite character, using Twitter (there were some prizes to win). Quite (un)surprisingly, Naruhodou Ryuunosuke didn’t win this vote… he’s only #4, behind Barok Van Zieks, Sherlock Holmes and… Kazuma Asougi, who is #1!

Here’s the results of the character popularity poll:

A wallpaper of Kazuma Asougi is now available on the official website (check out the link below!).

Unfortunately, Capcom still hasn’t made any announcement regarding a possible release of Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken outside Japan.
