CRYMACHINA (post-apocalyptic action RPG) coming to Nintendo Switch this year

FuRyu have just revealed their latest JRPG: CRYMACHINA, an action RPG developed by Aquria set in a post-apocalyptic world, and starring a group of mechanical girls trying to become real humans. It will launch on July 27th in Japan, and this Fall in Europe and North America (courtesy of NIS America).

In Japan, FuRyu will offer a Soundtrack CD (10 tracks + ASMR “Enoa no Hamaru” + Situation ASMR “Hakoniwa no Hitotoki” by Touno Hikaru) as pre-order bonus. It comes with a lyrics booklet, and a Download Code for a Samoyed?! Costume Pack.

Still in Japan, FuRyu will offer a Limited Edition. It includes the following:

  • an Original Box illustrated by Rorua
  • an Original Hanamaru Artbook (80 pages)
  • a Logo Sticker Sheet

  • Regular Edition (retail): 8 778 Yen

In modern times, a strange disease runs rampant. A young girl named Lebel Distel who teeters on the brink of death hears a mysterious voice–”You have been chosen.” Though taken by darkness, Leben awakens to find herself in a dark, post-apocalyptic world and is greeted by an android named Enoa.

Leben finds herself in Eden, the Propagation Plant, where machines continue to operate with the goal of creating “Real Humans” to restore humanity. Guided by Enoa, Leben becomes entangled in the battle to become a “Real Human.”

CRYMACHINA features the following characters:

  • Enoa (voiced by Hikaru Tono): “Humans get a gold star.”
  • Leben Distel (voiced by Risa Tsumugi): “Humans are stupid.”
  • Mikoto Chigiku (voiced by Ruriko Aoki): “Humans should live in a cool way.”

CRYMACHINA (Switch) comes out on July 27th in Japan. No release date for Europe and North America yet, but the game is slated for a Fall 2023 release in those two regions.
