Attack on Titan – Humanity in Chains: character trailer, 3DS, release date and EU delay
Yesterday evening, Atlus USA had a bit of Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains news for fans. First: the North American release date and the price! The game will come out on May 12th on the Nintendo eShop of the 3DS, where it will cost 39.99$. Unfortunately, the European release has been delayed.
And this time around, it looks like PEGI / USK / ACB (age rating agencies for Europe / Germany / Australia) have nothing to do with that. According to Atlus USA, this delay is due to a copyright claim, which is why the game will get a “new” name in Europe: Shingeki no Kyojin – Humanity in Chains (Shingeki no Kyojin being the original title of the manga, in Japan). Atlus doesn’t have an exact date, but hopes to release the game in Europe as soon as possible.
Next: some good news for fans of customisation. Atlus USA has announced that all players buying Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains on the Nintendo eShop would get a free Nintendo 3DS Theme. Since there is no retail version, that literally means that all players will get it. The theme won’t be available for purchase separately, so buying the game will be the only way to download it.
Here’s a picture of the theme:
And finally, Atlus USA uploaded a trailer introducing some of the characters of the game:
– Eren Jaeger
– Mikasa Ackerman
– Armin Arlet
– Levi
– Sasha Braus
