Atlus news (Jan. 17) – Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux / The Alliance Alive

Last week, Atlus shared a new trailer and some new details about The Alliance Alive, and more precisely its battle system.

Each character can use various Battle Arts, that allow them to unleash a fury of attacks on their opponents. When you use them in battle, a phenomenon known as “Awakening” can occur randomly. An Awakening can either level up the art being used, or unlock a new one related to it.

Also, using those very Battle Arts fills up the Ignition gauge (along with attacking enemies, taking damage, and having a party member KO’d). When it’s filled up, you can unleash a Final Strike: a really powerful attack, that deals tons of damage against enemies.

The Alliance Alive (3DS) comes out on March 27th in Europe and North America.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux

Today, Atlus sent a press release to announce that Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux would be released on May 15th in North America, and May 18th in Europe. It will cost $39.99 / 39.99€.
