Assault Gunners HD Edition headed to the Nintendo Switch… this week!

Need your mecha fix on Nintendo Switch, but can’t wait for Daemon x Machina and/or M.A.S.S. Builder (both releasing in 2019)? Then you’re in luck: there’s one releasing soon… this very week in fact! Introducing Assault Gunners HD Edition, releasing on Nintendo Switch this very Thursday (July 5th).

Here’s a trailer:

It will be available in 2 editions:

  • Standalone Game: 7.99€ / £7.99 / $9.99 (with 10% off launch discount until July 11th, in Europe and North America)
  • Complete Set (game + DLC): 11.99€ / £9.99 / $11.99 (with 10% off launch discount until July 11th, in Europe and North America)

The Extra Pack (DLC) will also be sold separately, and costs 4.99€ / £3.99 / $4.99. It includes the following:

  • 15 campaign missions set after the initial campaign
  • 3 additional Inferno Mode maps bringing the total to 8
  • 15 extra weapons allowing for more diverse offensive options
  • Over 30 additional mech-parts for even more customisation
  • 4 fully voice acted Navigators by renowned Japanese VA

Assault Gunners HD Edition is a mech based third-person shooter originally released in PlayStation Vita back in 2012 (in Japan), featuring “intense mech-based combat action” and “high levels of customisation”.

Here’s what the game is all about:

ASSAULT GUNNERS HD EDITION puts you in control of the Peace Keeping Force known as DAT and along with your three allied Battle Mechs, you must attempt to save Earth’s Migrants and the Mars Colonies as a whole from the threat of the ANTS uprising. Who could be behind this threat against Mars, the new planned perfect utopia for humanity?

With 35 full-length battle-heavy missions, a horde gameplay mode known as “Inferno Mode” covering 5 varied maps and over 100 mech-customisation possibilities for yourself and your allies, there’s plenty of replayability and content present in the standalone version of ASSAULT GUNNERS HD EDITION.
