ARMS: new update releasing later this month (Ver. 3.2), Graphic Novel announced for Fall 2018
On Saturday, during the Nintendo World Championships 2017, Nintendo didn’t announce/reveal any new game like they did back in 2015 (too bad for those of you who were hoping Metroid Prime: Blast Ball HD!). However, there was one announcement, courtesy of Bill Trinen: ARMS is getting another udpate, later this month!
The new features and content of this update are showcased in a trailer uploaded right after the Nintendo World Championships 2017. One of the main new features is badges, that are unlocked by completing certain objectives/achievements, such as:
- winning your first Tournament
- play 50 rounds with Spring Man
- earn 1 000 credits
- and more…
Nintendo mentions that there’s various conditions for earning a badge, ranging from completing training to major achievements.
Ver. 3.2の新規要素、「バッジ」!
ARMSをプレイ中に何か記録を達成するたびに、協会から褒章のバッジが授与されます。トレーニングをこなすという簡単なものから、ココには書けないような大偉業まで…バッジ授与の条件は色々!

Another new feature is the Replay List. The game automatically records the replay of your previous matches, which is then added to the Replay List, allowing you to check them later at your own leisure. Try to get a good look at them, to analyse your performance (as well as your opponent’s), in order to find what you need to improve!
鋭い方は既にお気づきかもしれませんが…Ver. 3.2では、リプレイリストが新たに追加されます!
最近参加した試合のリプレイが自動で保存されるので、あとからじっくり見返すことが可能です。

We can also see a rather intriguing Spring Man at the very end: new gameplay feature? Special boss? We will have to wait a little bit before finding out!

More details about this new update will be added to this page!
And also last week, Dark Horse announced they would publish a Graphic Novel based on the game, starting Fall 2018. We don’t know much about this adaptation, other than it will be illustrated by Joe Ng. Since the first volume will not be released before Fall 2018, it’s unlikely we’re going to get any concrete details about it in the near future!
