Arcade Archives Tatakae! Big Fighter / Sky Robo releases this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster has announced that the latest Arcade Archives release is Tatakae! Big Fighter! (also known as Sky Robo). It’s a shooting game originally developed and released on Arcade by Nichibutsu back in 1989 in Japan.

On Nintendo Switch, Tatakae! Big Fighter / Sky Robo will launch on April 17th and it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

Here’s a trailer, some details, and some screenshots:

In this game, you can switch between fighter jet and robot form during battle. The key to clearing a stage is to strengthen your ship with power-up items that appear along the way and change its shape to suit the situation.
