Arcade Archives King & Balloon releasing this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster has confirmed that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is King & Balloon. It’s a fixed shooting game originally developed and released on Arcade by Namco back in 1990 in Japan and North America. On Nintendo Switch, it will launch on July 20th, and it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

Here’s a trailer, some details, and some screenshots:

Shoot down the swarms of balloons that are coming to steal the king! The game will continue so long as the king isn’t fully taken away into the sky, no matter how many times your cannon is destroyed. You can also rescue the king as the balloons take him by shooting them down and rescuing him before he goes away.

Arcade Archives King & Balloon (Switch – eShop) comes out on July 20th worldwide.
