Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – More details about Ver. 1.4.0 (Special Daily Presents, Perfect Fruit, more)
Today, Nintendo released a major Software update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. It brings the game to Ver. 1.4.0, adds several new features, makes various improvements to the game, and more.
First: Fortune Cookies. You can find more details about them on the dedicated Fortune Cookies page, where you will also find details about Stamp Cards and Stamp Trade.
A quick note about Stamp Cards: you can redeem them for items that were previously available during events. For example, the Holiday 2017 items are currently available until May 17th: you can find more details on the dedicated Fortune Cookies page! Nintendo specifies that items you can get using Stamp Cards will sometime be available again via new Fortune Cookies or Events.
Next: Daily Presents (basically, Log-in Bonuses). Starting today, they now include new items, such as sparkle stones, and more importantly… Fortune Cookies! You can find more details about the latest set of Daily Log-in Bonuses on the Event and Content Updates page!
Another new feature introduced with Ver. 1.4.0 of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp… Memories. Nothing new to say about them, so for more details (including the list of currently available Memories, as well as their unlock conditions), make sure to check out the dedicated Memories page.
This update also adds the Perfect Fruit: a special type of fruit you can find on fruit trees… try giving one to a fruit-loving Animal! Speaking of Animals, they now have more requests for you, so try and go talk to them the next time you play!
But that’s not all: Ver. 1.4.0 of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp also introduces new types of bugs and fish, found on Sunburst Island, Saltwater Shores, and Lost Lure Creek.
Finally, here’s various changes/enhancements/bug fixes included in this update:
- you can now have a maximum of 1 500 pieces of clothing and furniture (instead of 1 000 previously);
- new push-notifications are available. They announce current in-game situation;
- the store now features a new permanent bundle: Leaf Ticket x 2 500;
- the glitch causing the game to crash in Lost Lure Creek and other areas, on iOS devices, has been fixed (check out this page for more details);
- other minor issues have been fixed;
- screen display was slightly adjusted.
