Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Day 1 update, tons of screenshots

Nintendo have announced that the Day 1 Update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Ver. 1.1.0, will be released on March 18th (North America) / March 19th (Europe, Japan). It’s not clear what this update includes, but details/official patch notes will be added to this page as soon as it’s available.

If you have pre-purchased the game on the Nintendo eShop (or if you somehow managed to get a copy early), you will be able to download this update ahead of launch. Naturally, it’s recommended to get it asap; while you will most definitely be able to play without it, the update is guaranteed to be required in order to enjoy some of the features of the game (online features, primarily). If you’re getting the game at retail, you will have to wait until you have your copy to download it, unfortunately.

Also, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting a 36 pages feature in Famitsu magazine this week. Here’s the usual preview pictures:

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine comes out on Thursday in Japan (effectively Wednesday morning/afternoon in North America and Europe respectively).

Finally, here’s over 50 screenshots for the game, courtesy of Famitsu:
