AC Happy Home Designer: Louie to be released in Japan one day before Europe (October 1st)

AC Happy Home Designer DLC 1On Tuesday, Nintendo announced that Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer would get some free DLC at launch, in Europe. This morning, it was announced that Japan would get the same DLC, but one day earlier: on October 1st. Therefore, it’s pretty much guaranteed North America will also get it on the same day as Europe.

This free DLC is Louie, and you will be able to take on his request. Doing so will unlock a series of Mario-themed items, to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. series. In Japan, the free DLC will be available until November 11th, which means it should be available until November 12th in Europe (and North America).

The items that come with Louie’s request are:

  • ? Block
  • Pipe
  • Star
  • Mushroom
  • Green Shell
  • Coin
  • Cannon
  • Yoshi’s egg
  • Block
  • 1-Up
  • Fire Flower
  • 3
  • 0
  • Fire Bar
  • Goal Pole

To get Louie, you will need to:

  • connect your Nintendo 3DS to the internet;
  • go to your desk at Nook’s Homes;
  • greet Louie and take on his request. The items will then be unlocked.
