- Patch notes:
Adventure Mode Updates
- We have rebalanced Adventure Mode to make it more enjoyable and less punishing:
- Stage Saving: In Adventure Mode, you now save your progress after each stage instead of after an entire zone! (In other modes, saving is still after beating a whole zone).
- Character Reset: When you load a game in Adventure Mode, you will receive more gold to gear up than in other modes. The further you’ve progressed through the zones, the more gold you’ll receive!
- Stage Navigation: After completing a stage in Adventure Mode, you can replay it from the map. Use this advantage to revisit stages where you can loot treasure and buy equipment. However, once you enter the stage, you must beat it again to return to the map.
- Boss Adjustments: In Adventure Mode we have slightly reduced the health of all bosses by around 10%, making encounters a bit more manageable.
- 99 Credits: Adventure Mode keeps the 99 credits, so you can focus on the fun without worrying about running out!
Speedrun ModeFor the most competitive players, after conquering Epic Mode, you can unlock Speedrun Mode! Start with full gear and enhanced power and speed. Enjoy quicker enemy waves during the Obelisk-demolishing stages. Which character will be the fastest?
Character Balance
- Crantor: He now enjoys a 5% increase in base walking speed, enhancing his mobility. Additionally, his Power Attack, which was previously underutilized, has received a boost of 15% to both damage and animation speed, making it a more effective option in combat.
- Sais: She now experiences nearly 60% less knockback when hit, enhancing her tank-like qualities and making her ideal for players who want to avoid being pushed into pits. Additionally, she benefits from a 5% increase in dash distance and a 5% boost in attack speed, making her a more competitive option even with her defensive playstyle.
- Kritias: No changes have been made; he remains the fastest character with the highest potential DPS and the smallest hurtboxes by far. The inertia from his Dash Boost makes him especially effective in platforming stages.
- Azaes: He now has a 5% increase in base walking speed, narrowing the gap between his slower uncharged state and faster characters. His charged attack features a 20% larger hitbox in front, allowing him to land hits more effectively without getting too close. Additionally, the frame data for his charged attack starts 1 frame earlier, enabling quicker reactions to nearby enemies. His dash has also been improved, with a 10% increase in distance and a 10% boost in launch power.
General Enhancements
- New Enemies and Mid-Bosses: We’ve added a new flying enemy and a new mid-boss in Zone 1 to spice up your gameplay. Additionally, some unique monsters in various zones have been reconfigured as mid-bosses!
- Increased Orichalcum Rewards: Now you receive more gold per zone when loading your game across all modes, slightly adjusted when playing co-op. The further you have progressed, the more gold you will receive, allowing you to reconfigure your gear and character to adapt to the unique challenges of each zone.
- Loot Changes: Orichalcum and treasure now scatter less when breaking chests, making it easier to collect!
