  • Patch notes:
  • Added warp points to the Spring and Autumn Villages’ development zones.
  • Added options to turn on/off villagers doing the ‘Sowing’, ‘Watering’, and ‘Harvesting’ tasks from the System Settings.
  • Adds a message to the Nintendo Switch 2 version on first startup for all players indicating that the game includes In-Game Purchases. (North America)
  • Adjusted the volume of some of Zaza and Woolby’s lines in Japanese.
  • Adjusted the Sacred Sword so that it can reap crops over a wider area.
  • Blade Shards now drop from high level Toad and Fallen Warrior enemies.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the players from acquiring the Evasive Leg Guards: they can now be purchased from the Blacksmith in each village once it has reached a certain level.
  • Fixed a bug preventing the Ema Plaque Quest ‘The Divine Sword Dance is the Best!’ from occuring.
  • Fixed a bug preventing the completion of certain Bonding quests.
  • Fixed other minor bugs.

How to download updates for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
