Fixes:

  • Fixed Hounds not spawning in Sister of Parvos missions.

Hotfix #4

Riven Compatibility Script:
We are running a script to address any Variant-specific Rivens that were made prior to 42.0.3. Those with affected Mods should see your Riven compatibility reverted to its non-variant state. (ex: your Tenet Quanta Riven should be reverted back to a Quanta Riven)

Changes:

  • Players only have to complete The Descendia from the initial Descend point and complete one separate Roathe fight** on Steel Path to earn completion towards The Dark Refractory Steel Path trophy.
    • Previously, players would have to start and extract from all checkpoints of Descendia (i.e. Marie and Lyon’s Sanctuary, and Roathe)
    • Players will have to recomplete The Descendia and fight Roathe one additional time (ie. twice total) to trigger the inbox from Teshin! EDIT: For clarity, the unlock path is as follows:
      • Descend from Infernum 1 and extract at Infernum 21.
      • Go back and fight Roathe one additional time (and extract).
  • Updated phrasing in Truth Flame’s description which implied it increased Melee damage instead of Tennokai damage.
    • Now reads: Tennokai kills grant an additional 4s Tennokai opportunity and increase Tennokai damage.

Warframe – Ver. 42.0.0 (The Shadowgrapher)

  • Release date: March 25th/26th 2026
  • File size: 20.75GB (Nintendo Switch)
  • Patch notes:

NEW GAME MODE: FOLLIE’S HUNT

Look at the blood. Look at the ink. Watch it drip, drip.

Something… no, someone haunts the ruins of the Vesper Relay. Come face-to-face with Follie, the Shadowgrapher, and complete her Shadowgraphs to uncover the Truth.

Orbiting around Venus, the Vesper Relay was fully accessible until 2014, when it was destroyed by Councilor Vay Hek and his Balor Fomorian battleships during Operation: Eyes of Blight. While veteran Tenno may recall visiting this locale all those years ago, its now-ruined interior looks considerably different and harbors a shadowy menace…

Prerequisite

Complete the Chains of Harrow Quest

Visit our Quest Guide to help you along your journey to unlocking the Chains of Harrow.

How to Access

Once you’ve completed the Chains of Harrow Quest, a new playable node on the Vesper Relay will appear on Venus for you to play Follie’s Hunt.

Gameplay

In this new game mode, you’ll be seeking Paint to complete various Shadowgraphs (canvases) — and become hunted by Follie as you progress.

The goal is to complete three Shadowgraphs in order to extract safely with rewards, here’s how:

1 – Find Shadowgraphs

Upon arriving in the Vesper Relay, enter the Shadowgraph Portal to be taken inside this desolate ink coated nightmare.

Find the three Shadowgraphs scattered throughout the map, which will be marked A, B, and C once found.

The Vesper Relay also has two floors which you can access via the “elevators” located in the main hall.

2 – Find Paint pools

As you explore, you’ll come across pools of Paint. They have a distinct chime and will be marked with a special icon when entering their vicinity.

Approaching a pool will force you into your Operator or Drifter and douse you in Paint so that it can be delivered to a Shadowgraph. However, the Paint has a strange effect on Void abilities and disables Void Sling and Transference while you are coated in it.

Killing enemies has a chance to spawn yellow trailing waypoints, which will lead you to more pools of Paint!

3 – Deliver Paint to Shadowgraph

Be prepared to fend off hordes of ink-covered enemies in your wake and flee from Follie as you attempt to deliver the Paint to Shadowgraphs. Getting downed while carrying Paint will clear it from you, so stay nimble, clear dangerous inky hazards and avoid Follie at all cost!

Standing near a Shadowgraph will automatically draw the paint off of your Operator/Drifter and onto the canvas. The amount of paint required to complete a Shadowgraph increases based on how many numbers of players are in the squad.

4 – Repeat until all Shadowgraphs are completed!

Progress to completing Shadowgraphs is tracked in the special HUD gauge, each time Paint is delivered, the gauge will fill up. Complete all three Shadowgraphs to extract and be rewarded for withstanding the inky horrors that crawl within the Vesper Relay.

Follie Hunts

Delivering Paint to Shadowgraphs will awaken Follie, an invincible foe who stalks you as you work towards your escape. An aura emanates around her, dealing damage and sapping Energy from any who dare stay near. She can also cast her Abilities and spawn Shadowgraphs including Death Orbs.

As the mission progresses, Follie will up the ante with various ink-infused aberrations and modifiers to stop you in your tracks.

  • Polyopia: Additional Follies spawn throughout the Relay. These clones can cast her Abilities, but are killable!
  • Sticky Ink: Tentacles reach out of ink structures and puddles to deal damage and slow players.
  • Splattering Touch: Enemies will instantly explode to deal damage when contacted by players.
  • Drip, Drip, Drip: Large walls of ink create permanent barriers that change the layout of the level.
  • Gigantism: The enemies increase in size and health. Their innate explosion also increases in size.
  • Draining Effigies: Statues of Follie called Facsimiles are scattered around the level. They have the same aura as Follie, which deal damage and siphon energy while you are standing in its radius. They will also summon Follie if the player is carrying Paint. They can be destroyed and damaging them will temporarily shrink their aura radius.
  • Ink Balloons: Balloon mines spawn and explode with ink damaging and staggering nearby  players. They can be popped with weapon damage!
  • Ink Mires: These gloopy globs of ink can appear on doors and lock them down. Damage them to regain access to the door.
  • Deimos Tendril Drones: These perky tentacled menaces can also spawn and latch onto you, causing you to stagger. Roll to shake them off!

Mission Restrictions:

  • Air Support Charges are disabled in Follie’s Hunt.

Star Chart Considerations

Any new node on an existing Planet comes with its own rules to fit within existing systems —  namely Steel Path and Resource Drones.

  • Completion of Follie’s Hunt is not required for deploying resource Extractors on Venus.
  • Completion of Follie’s hunt is required to unlock the Steel Path.

Completing Follie’s Hunt will guarantee you the following rewards:

  • 1 Steel Essence (Steel Path only)

New Resource: Atramentum

This deep black ink has the power to reveal hidden truth.

Atramentum can be traded at Aspirant Zorba in Relays for wares (read dedicated section for more information).

How to Acquire Atramentum:

  • Completing Follie’s Hunt missions.
  • Popping Atramentum Balloons (with weapon damage) in the Vesper Relay during Follie’s Hunt missions.
  • The amount of Atramentum that drops from Balloons ranges:
    • Normal Path: 2-4
    • Steel Path: 3-6
  • Killing enemies in Follie’s Hunt missions.
  • Atramentum dropped from Balloons and enemies are marked with a special marker.

NEW VENDOR: ASPIRANT ZORBA

After completing the Chains of Harrow quest, a new person of interest appears when you visit a Relay. Unable to read the ancient Hexis script, Aspirant Zorba holds onto the letters left to him by Master Kozai. He believes the Atramentum collected from within Follie’s Shadowgraph will allow him to read those letters and finally understand the ancient script.

Visit Aspirant Zorba just outside of the Arbiters of Hexis’ enclave in Relays (fast travel via quick access wheel also available) to discover more of his story and to access his wares. He offers:

  • Chromatic Atramentum
    • Used to create Atragraph Mods! Read the New Cosmetic: Atragraph Mods section to learn more.
  • Truth’s Flame (Tennokai Mod) – Max Rank stats listed
    • Enables Tennokai. Successful Tennokai kills grant an additional 4s Tennokai opportunity with +120% Melee Damage bonus. Be warned, failure to kill a target with a Tennokai attack will self-inflict 100 Heat Damage/s and reset the Combo Counter. +1 ‘Truth’.
  • Follie Prex
  • Follie Main & Component Blueprints
  • Enkaus Main & Component Blueprints
  • Drip (Somachord)
  • Stained Vespers (Somachord)
  • Dreadnaught (Somachord)
  • Haunted Vesper Relay Scene (Captura)
  • 6,000 Kuva — weekly purchase limit of 7

Kozai’s Letters

If you seek to aid Aspirant Zorba in his quest to read his master’s letters then you will need to collect Atramentum. The more Atramentum you collect, the more you support Aspirant Zorba in understanding the letters. Can you collect enough to fulfill his wish?

NEW COSMETIC: ATRAGRAPH MODS

With the help of Aspirant Zorba, discover the Shadowgrapher’s shining revision of select Mods in your Arsenal. Visit Aspirant Zorba in any Relay (available to travel to from quick access wheel) to exchange your Atramentum for Chromatic Atramentum, which can be used to create Atragraph Mods.

Atragraph Mods offer a purely cosmetic effect, but we all know that shiny makes everything better. With Shadowgrapher, the following Mods (and their variants) can become Atragraphs:

  • Vitality
  • Fury
  • Organ Shatter
  • Target Cracker
  • Serration
  • Hell’s Chamber
  • Hellfire
  • Barrel Diffusion
  • Animal Instinct
  • Streamline

Creating an Atragraph Mod with Chromatic Atramentum will only change the Mod selected —  not all Mods of that type. This means Atragraph Mods can be traded with others as well! Make sure you pick the Mod you want, else you waste your resource (and Follie’s art)!

We also added an Atragraph sorting category in the Mod management screen so that you can check out your collection.

OPERATION: ATRAMENTUM

BEGINS APRIL 2ND @ 11:30 AM ET

The Shadowgrapher update also brings a new Operation which commences April 2nd called Operation: Atramentum! You will be given access to an Operation Variant of Follie’s Hunt that will reward you with Operation currency. In addition to this variant, we will be adding Operation currency to Nightmare Mode Missions as an alternate participation path.

We will have a dedicated Operation post once it’s live explaining in full details how you can participate. For now, you can prepare by completing the Chains of Harrow Quest, which is the prerequisite to be able to earn and trade Operation currency for rewards at Aspirant Zorba.

NEW WARFRAME: FOLLIE

Follie, the merry, macabre Shadowgrapher, brings ink to life. Support her squad and control enemy crowds with a myriad of versatile sketches and tricks.

Follie’s Abilities

Passive: Inkblot

Follie’s abilities coat enemies in ink that slows their movement up to 50% for a few seconds. Afflicted enemies have a 20% chance to drop Health and Energy Orbs.

Ability 1: Forced Perspective

Drop through an inky frame and emerge invulnerable at the aimed location in a splash of ink that inflicts Inkblot on nearby enemies.

Ability 2 : Shadowgraph

Bring shadowgraphs to life as items that can be used for tactical advantage. Shadowgraphs also splash Inkblot onto nearby enemies when created.

HOLD the ability to open the Shadowgraph wheel and release to cast the selected Shadowgraph. Once a Shadowgraph has been selected, it can be recast by simply TAPPING the ability. Note that on Nintendo Switch, Follie’s Shadowgraphs (for all players) use their default art.

Shadowgraphs (and the ability to customize them in the Sketchbook) unlock progressively as you rank up Follie. At Rank 30, all Shadowgraphs are unlocked.

Select from the following Shadowgraphs:

  • Explosive Barrel: Follie summons an explosive barrel with a random elemental damage (icon will appear above the barrel). It will explode upon contact with enemies and can also be detonated by damaging it.
  • Arc Trap: Follie summons a single Arc Trap to temporarily disrupt and control enemies with Electricity Damage.
  • Thermian RPG: Follie summons a Thermina RPG to pick up – a devastating Scaldra rocket launcher with three rockets per spawn.
  • Amphors: Follie summons three Amphors of random elemental affinity to pick up and use as grenades or for Alchemy missions.
  • Death Orb: Follie summons a single Death Orb that inflicts Radiation status and damages enemies. Follie’s Death Orbs also grant Prime Warframes Energy!
  • Corralizer Armament: Ensnares enemies and slows them down with Cold damage.
  • Lohk Surge: Follie summons one Lohk Surge that can be activated to receive a random buff.
  • Universal Ammo: Follie summons an ammo crate that automatically dispenses Universal ammo.
  • Launch Pad: Follie summons a single launch pad that provides additional upward mobility when jumping in it. Three can be active at a time.
  • Lost Spirit: Points the way to nearby treasure.
  • Life Support Capsule: Follie summons a Life Support tower to provides extra support in Survival missions.
  • Power Cell: Follie summons a Power Cell to grant power to Excavators in Excavation missions.
  • Defense Capsule: Follie summons a Cryopod to distract enemies and draw fire.
  • Conduit Key: Follie summons a random conduit key to speed up Disruption missions.

Shadowgraphs can also be moved around the wheel to your liking, similar to the gear and emote wheel. Simply select and drag to a desired spot!

Ability 3: Self Portrait

Draw an ink effigy to absorb the damage dealt to Follie and allies. Below, a pool of ink spreads Inkblot. Kill enemies inside the pool to grow Follie’s effigy and its ink puddle.

Self Portrait is Follie’s Helminth ability – altered Damage Reduction cap at 75%, and Inkblot will not be applied on enemies.

Ability 4: Plein Air

Tie nearby enemies to floating balloons that douse them with Inkblot. Pop the balloons to send them crashing to the ground, splashing ink on nearby enemies.

Plein Air is Follie’s Railjack ability.

How to Acquire Follie

  • Follie’s Main and Component Blueprints can be acquired from Aspirant Zorba in the Relays for Atramentum.
  • Follie’s Main and Component Blueprints can be earned from Follie’s Hunt reward drop tables.
  • Purchase Follie from the Market individually or as part of The Shadowgrapher Bundle. Learn more in the “Market Additions” section.

Follie’s Prex Card

Acquire from Aspirant Zorba’s wares in the Relay!

Maximum Loadout Slot Increase

With the release of Follie, the maximum number of purchasable Loadout Slots has been increased from 32 to 33.

Follie’s Glyphs can also be purchased from the Glyph selection menu accessible from the Pause Menu > Profile > Glyph.

NEW BEAM RIFLE: ENKAUS

Turn the enemy’s worst nightmare into reality with Follie’s signature rifle. The Enkaus will instantly kill and dissolve inked enemies that are damaged at low health. Shooting inked enemies siphons ink back into the Enkaus, allowing for a constant flow of creative destruction.

Unique Trait: Alt fire sprays ink that will stain enemies. Shooting ink stained foes with Enkaus draws ink back into the weapon to reload and dissolves enemies when their health drops below 35%. When wielded by Follie, foes are also inflicted with Inkblot.

How to Acquire Enkaus

  • Enkaus’ Main and Component Blueprints can be acquired from Aspirant Zorba in the Relays for Atramentum.
  • Enkaus’ Main and Component Blueprints can be earned from Follie’s Hunt reward drop tables.
  • Purchase Enkaus from the Market individually or as part of The Shadowgrapher Bundle. Learn more in the “Market Additions” section.

NEW ADVERSARY WEAPONS

Three Weapons have gotten the Adversary treatment, with new Kuva, Tenet and Coda versions for you to unleash mayhem aboard the Vesper Relay and beyond. Rip and tear with the Kuva Ghoulsaw, eviscerate with the precision of the Tenet Quanta, and let loose the devastating pestilence of the Coda Bubonico.

Kuva Ghoulsaw

The addition of Kuva has forged the savage Ghoulsaw into an even more brutal weapon, allowing for faster attacks.

The Kuva Ghoulsaw has been added to the list of Kuva weapons that can be generated from Kuva Larvlings.

Tenet Quanta

Once a mining tool adapted for military purposes, Parvosian engineering has enhanced the Quanta’s lethality even further. Alternate Fire cubes now apply Status Effect on impact.

The Tenet Quanta has been added to the list of Tenet weapons that can be generated from Sister Candidates.

Coda Bubonico

With increased magazine size, the Coda Bubonico was born of the Technocyte virus’ need to spread infection. Primary Fire rate ramps up with continuous fire.

The Coda Bubonico has been added to Eleanor’s Batch B Coda Weapon rotation in the Höllvania Central Mall, which is currently live now! To make the Coda Bubonico available immediately with the update release, we rotated Eleanor’s store to Batch B early (original PSA).

Adversary Weapon Changes:

  • The bonus Valence Bonus percentage roll on Kuva Lich and Sisters of Parvos Adversary Weapons is now properly randomized!
    • Previously, the roll was weighted towards lower values, meaning a lot of progenitor runs for slim chance at a high percentage Valence Bonus.
    • Now, it is entirely randomized to give players equal chance across the bonus range.

THE GUILTY

This information has been all but lost to the tomes of time… You’ll have to figure out how to unlock this one all by yourself.

Once unlocked, you can access The Guilty using The Dark Refractory by selecting Perita Rebellion and checking “The Guilty” checkbox in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

The Guilty was designed with Tauron Strikes in mind, and will likely be quite difficult without them. We welcome any feedback you have around Tauron Strikes and how useful they are in The Guilty.

CLAN COOPERATION SYSTEM

We mentioned some exciting changes coming to Clans with our Clan QoL Dev Workshop. We are calling this collection of changes the Clan Cooperation System as it is our intention to incentivize more cooperative play between Clanmates. We are going to get into greater specifics in the section below.

Clan Vault Resource Bonus

As part of a new incentivized structure to support playing with your Clanmates, this update introduces a new Clan Vault Resource Bonus. By playing with other Clanmates you now generate bonus resources that are deposited into your Clan Vault at the end of your mission. This bonus is in addition to whatever you collect, so your personal resources amounts are not affected. The resources eligible for this bonus are only those that can be stored in your Clan Vault. Some of these resources are not currently required for Clan use (for example in Dojo decorations) but may be used in the future!

The Clan Vault Resource Bonus works as follows:

  • Each player in a squad from the same Clan increases the bonus % of additional resources that will be deposited into the Clan Vault at the end of the mission.
    • Two players results in a 10% resource bonus per player
    • Three players results in a 15% resource bonus per player
    • A full squad results in an 20% resource bonus per player
  • The bonus % of additional resources is applied to all eligible resources collected by you and your Clanmates.
  • All bonus resources are immediately deposited into the Clan Vault upon mission completion.
  • You can view the resources that your squad has added to your Clan Vault in the end of mission screen.

We believe these bonus resources in your Clan Vault will make it easier than ever to complete Research, fund Dojo rooms, and decorate your Dojos!

Weekly Initiatives

Earn additional rewards for yourself through your bonus resource contributions to the Clan Vault via the new Weekly Initiatives system.

Similar to other weekly activities, these Weekly Initiatives will reset every Monday at 0:00 UTC!

Weekly Personal Rewards

Squad up with your Clanmates and complete missions together to progress your own Personal Rewards track to unlock weekly items! Earn progress based on the amount of bonus resources you collect for the Clan Vault with your Clanmates in missions.

Each week there are four tiers of rewards to unlock with a random single reward per tier. Let’s take a look at the potential rewards in more detail:

Tier 1 – 25% Progression

  • 50x Squad Energy Restore (Large)

Weekly Personal Rewards are claimed in a similar fashion to Nightwave in that, once you have met the requirements, opening the Clan menu will add the rewards to your inventory. When available to claim, a special icon will appear in the notifications and next to the Communication & Clan buttons in the pause menu.

Weekly Planet Bonus

Each week a specific planet will be randomly chosen to provide a 2x Clan Vault resource bonus for any mission played there. Connect with Clanmates on the specified planet’s nodes to maximize your reward progress! The 2x bonus also benefits your progress through the Personal Rewards track.

You will be able to keep track of all of the above from your Clan menu:

  • View and track your progress for the current Weekly Personal Rewards
  • View which planet is receiving the 2x Clan Vault resource bonus for the week

New Matchmaking Mode: Clan Only

To make it easier to connect and play with Clanmates, we are adding a “Clan Only” matchmaking option.

“Clan Only” connects you with fellow Clan or Alliance members. Your fellow Clanmates do not need to be in “Clan Only” matchmaking to join as they will be automatically added as long as they are in public matchmaking. You may still of course invite others to join your squad directly if you so desire. For especially larger Clans it can sometimes be difficult to connect with other Clanmates and we believe this new option will streamline that connection.

New Clan Glyph Prism

We’re adding a new Clan Glyph Prism that will display your Clan Emblem!  Similar to how the Glyph Prism works, the Clan Glyph Prism projects your Clan’s Emblem in mission and is accessible from the Gear Wheel. Whether it’s to mark a spot in the Plains of Eidolon or to celebrate dominating a boss, showcase your Clan pride with this new Prism!

Players in Clans will receive this in an Inbox Message upon login. If you create a new Clan or join an existing one, you will receive your Clan Glyph Prism in the same Inbox Message that gives you the Clan Key. Oh and no charges needed, you can spread your Clan love freely as the Clan Glyph Prism has unlimited uses!

KNOWN ISSUE: Custom Clan and Alliance Emblems are currently disabled on both Nintendo Switch platforms. This will require a code fix to solve to re-enable in a future update. We apologize for the inconvenience!

QUEST CHANGES

Awakening Remaster

For generations you’ve slept. No purpose. No call to wake you.

The Awakening is players first quest in Warframe, where they learn the basics of combat and movement and meet some key characters. This quest is crucial to the new player experience, which is why we’ve made improvements to the flow, tutorial elements, and completely remastered it from top to bottom for a truly exhilarating and visually stunning introduction to the game!

A reminder that the Awakening can be replayed from the Codex for those who are looking to experience the remaster and relive their early Tenno days.

New Quest Completion Reward: Completing the Quest will now reward The Awakening Somachord track! It is automatically added to your account to be played from the Somachord in the Personal Quarters. It is immediately available for those who have already completed the Quest and have access to (or will eventually have access to) their Personal Quarters.

Visual & Environment Changes

  • Added entirely new tiles throughout the quest and updated level design to improve progression experience through quest. Awaken and fight through remastered Earth tiles that transition from your start at the decrepit Orokin tower into an Ostron town ablaze by the Grineer.
  • Added new skyboxes!
  • Updated the entirety of the Quest with GI lighting and volumetric fog.
    • Note: The daytime lightning we showed on Devstream 192 was returned to nighttime for better parity with the intro cinematic before gameplay.
  • Added dynamic weather changes in the intro sequence with rain.
  • Added destructible objects throughout. Because who doesn’t love to break stuff.

Quest Flow & Tutorial Changes

The following changes were made with the goal of making each moment feel exciting and punchier, while also ensuring we are properly teaching new players the game in a fun and rewarding way. We want players spending less time running around to get to the next waypoint and more time fully immersed in the action as they learn. So we’ve made the following changes to achieve that:

  • Moved the sprint and jump tutorial popup earlier upon exiting the Orokin tower and moved the Melee weapon selection closer to the entrance, so that new players have a more immediate interaction with the movement system and combat.
  • The first instance of combat in the Melee tutorial now happens much closer to where new players pick their Melee weapon.
    • Also improved visual cues to communicate that combat has begun with the drop ship flying into the scene within the player’s view, instead of at a distance in the previous version.
  • Spaced the jump tutorial stages further apart to better explain single and double jumps.
  • Shortened the path from the slide tutorial sequence to attacking an enemy to really make that moment feel heroic!
  • Improved the overall combat sequence during the Secondary weapon tutorial with the new Ostron village arena that tightens engagement distance to the enemies, which was previously too far.
  • Shortened the trek from the Ostron village to the bullet jumping tutorial significantly.
  • Changed the bullet jumping tutorials to occur in areas that are more conducive to bullet jumping:
    • The basic Bullet Jump tutorial now occurs in an area (with many beautiful waterfalls might I add) where you bullet jump from platform to platform.
      • Within this area, we also added a new tutorial popup to explain how to Bullet Jump UP to reach platforms above you.
    • The Bullet Jump + Slide tutorial area now occurs on a flat surface instead of slope.
      • Previously, the Bullet Jump + Slide tutorial popup occurred in an uphill tunnel, which made it feel sluggish and didn’t properly communicate how beneficial it is.
      • Now, in the updated area, players will get a proper feel for the momentum you get by accomplishing this set of movements.
    • Added tutorial popup to teach players that Bullet Jumping repeatedly will help them move faster.
  • Moved the “release the lockdown” console closer to the doors upon exiting the Captain Vor fight and made it a single button interaction instead of needing to hack it.
  • Added more exploding barrels to the combat segment that follows acquiring a Primary weapon for a fun impact moment.
  • Ship defense segment changes:
    • Added Lotus transmission upon seeing the Liset Landing Craft to explain that it needs power and needs to be activated via the marked console.
      • Previously, only the marker appeared without explanation as to what the player was doing by activating it before doing so.
    • This segment now takes place in an entirely new tile with a layout that improves visibility of enemies and engagement distance.
      • The previous tile took place on a platform with various surfaces of different elevations around it, which made combat feel distant and wasn’t conducive to players testing out all the new skills they just learned.
    • Added the following tutorial messages while defending the ship to remind players what they’ve learned:
      • How to swap between weapons
      • How to melee
      • How to use your first ability

Audio Changes:

  • Added new music! Including The Awakening Somachord Track.

QUALITY OF LIFE (QOL) CHANGES

Survival QOL: Security Bypasses

Survival has been a tried and true game mode in Warframe for the last 13 years, and we wanted to add a little extra to the game mode without changing its identity! When a Life Support tower spawns, a Security Bypass will spawn nearby for you to find.

You may have to go searching, but once you’re in close proximity a waypoint will show you precisely where it can be found. You can also use treasure hunting abilities, such as Golden Instinct or Orokin Eye to help find Security Bypasses!

Once you have a Security Bypass, a console will be marked with a waypoint for delivery. Insert the Security Bypass into the console, and for one minute time will move twice as fast! This functionally acts as a 1-minute time save for every Security Bypass you insert!

Additional Notes:

  • Please note that the new Security Bypass system does not affect Duviri versions of Survival, Hell-Scrub missions in Höllvania, or Survival missions in Albrecht’s Laboratories.
  • Reactant drops in Survival Fissure missions are doubled for the duration of the Security Bypass.

Excavation QOL

Excavator Survivability

We’ve heard your feedback on Excavators being too weak, and are happy to say they’ll survive better than ever before! Excavators across the Origin System have had a few improvements to help keep them alive longer:

  • Excavators spawn with 3 seconds of temporary invulnerability, ensuring the Excavator is fully initialized before it becomes vulnerable.
  • Excavator Shields now apply shield-gating, making them survive longer by default and making delivery of Power Cells to restore shields more impactful.
  • Excavators have increased base Health (from 1500 to 2000), and scale much more aggressively to enemy levels. This should mean your Steel Path Excavators have significantly more health!
    • Duviri Excavators already had increased health, which has now been standardized to match Excavators in the Origin System.

New Excavation Tutorial

  • Added tutorial hints in Excavation missions to better explain mechanics:
    • Added tutorial transmissions to all Star Chart Excavation missions, Orb Vallis Excavation Bounty phases and the Vox Solaris Quest that explains why Excavator progress has halted and that it needs Power Cells to continue.
      • These transmissions can be turned on/off using the “Mission Tutorial Transmissions” toggle in the Audio options.
    • Any time an Excavator is without power for 5 seconds, yellow objective text will appear to explain what needs to be done to continue progress (includes an icon of what a Power Cell looks like).
      • If the Excavator is without power for 30 seconds (15 in the Vox Solaris Quest), a HUD message in the center of the screen will appear once per mission informing that it needs power.

Grind Reduction Changes

With Shadowgrapher, we have reviewed the acquisition path for various older pieces of equipment. Our focus was on content that has existed in-game for 5+ years — our “grind” philosophy has slowly changed in that time, so the following changes bring that content closer to our modern-day design.

For changes that touch droptables, some percentages on other rewards like relics and mods might have changed slightly. This list will only note cases where drops have been added or removed, but rest assured that we have taken care not to reduce the drop rate of anything particularly important or valuable! Please review our Official Drop Table Site for a comprehensive look of all drop rate changes.

  • Reduced the build time on Excalibur, Volt and Mag blueprints from 72 hours to 24 hours.
  • Defeating Tyl Regor now rewards two Equinox Component Blueprints — one guaranteed for the Night and Day Aspect each.
  • Added Nidus’ Blueprints to all Infested Salvage rotations.
    • Now Rotation A and Rotation B also drop his Neuroptics, Systems, and Chassis Blueprints, though Rotation C still has the best odds!
    • Removed the 150 Endo bundle and the following Mods from the mission drop table in the process: Shocking Touch, Deep Freeze, North Wind, Hornet Strike, and Reflex Coil.
  • Added Ivara’s main Blueprint to the Market, and increased her Component Blueprint drop rates to 22.56% from Star Chart Spy Vaults.
    • Increased Ivara Component drop rates to 36% in Railjack Spy Vault droptables.
    • Removed Ivara’s main Blueprint from Spy Vault and Veil Proxima Spy droptables.
      • Also removed Ivara’s Chassis Blueprint from Lua Spy drop tables, increasing the drop chances for Rime Rounds and Scattering Inferno.
    • Spy Vault drop tables were adjusted as follows to compensate for her drop rate changes:
      • Removed Arrow Mutation, Sniper Ammo Mutation, and Shotgun Ammo Mutation from High Tier Spy Vault drop tables.
      • Removed Metal Auger from Medium Tier Spy Vault drop tables.
      • Removed Endo from Railjack Spy Vault drop tables.
  • Added Khora’s main Blueprint to the Market, and added her Component Blueprints to all Sanctuary Onslaught Rotations.
    • Added Synthetic Eidolon Shards to Rotation A to help balance tables.
    • Removed Khora’s Main Blueprint from Sanctuary Onslaught droptables.
  • Added the Braton Vandal and Lato Vandal blueprints and components to all Elite Sanctuary Onslaught Rotations.
    • Moved Peculiar Growth to Rotation B as a rare reward to help balance Sanctuary Onslaught drop tables.
  • Doubled the drop chance of the Korrudo Blueprint from Tusk Thumper Bulls and Domas.
  • Doubled the drop chance of the Akarius Blueprint and Acceltra Blueprint from Demolisher Infested.
  • Added the following items to Necraloid’s Wares in the Necralisk:
    • Arum Spinosa’s Blueprint and Components (available at Clearance: Modus).
    • Sporothrix’s Blueprint and Components (available at Clearance: Odima).
  • Wolf Sledge’s Blueprint and Components now share an even 25% drop chance from the Wolf of Saturn Six.

Requiem Relic QOL

  • Removed Requiem I, II, III, and IV Relics from drop tables and replaced them with the new Requiem Eterna Relic.
    • This Relic’s droptable only contains the 8 Requiem Mods (with equal chance for all), and cannot be refined with Void Traces.
    • Moved the retired Requiem Relics to Palladino’s wares. Learn more in the dedicated “Palladino Wares Additions” section.
  • Replaced the Requiem Relic Pack in the Market and in the Kuva Lich Hunter Pack with a new Requiem Eterna Relic Pack containing 6 Eterna Requiem Relics.
    • Since the Requiem Relic Pack included Refined Relics, we increased the number of Relics in the replacement pack from 4 to 6 to make up the Void Trace difference.

Requiem Eterna Inbox:

Players who have unlocked Kuva Liches (completed The War Within and have reached Mastery Rank 5) will receive 8 Requiem Eterna Relics via inbox message on login.

Captura QOL Changes

We added several new settings to improve the Captura experience!

  • Added falloff sliders to the lighting options:
    • Main Falloff
    • Fill Falloff
    • Rim Falloff
  • Added the following options to the enemy Spawner screen (accessed from the “Spawn Enemies” option):
    • Spawn at Camera Position
    • Attack Player
    • Pursue Player
      • If toggled on, enemies will chase after you.
      • If toggled off, enemies will remain in their spawn position.
  • Added Reset Enemies option to reset the position and state of the last spawned enemies.
  • Added Remove Nearest Enemy option – this will despawn enemies that are closest to your character. If there are multiple enemies, it will remove them one by one prioritizing the closest ones first.

Captura Fixes:

  • Fixed remapping the D-pad up input making it difficult to use the Toggle Free Cam in Captura.
    • To resolve this issue and prevent future issues from occurring, the Toggle Free Cam binding must be mapped before leaving the bindings screen.
  • Fixed Marie’s and Lyon’s Room Scenes not being in the Entrati category for Captura Scenes.
  • Fixed the Five Fates Captura Scene unintentionally spawning enemies and objective markers.
  • Fixed “Session Unavailable” message popping up upon joining Host in the Praghasa Throne Captura Scene.
  • Fixed some destructible objects in Marie’s Room Scene floating mid-air after being destroyed.
    • Also fixed a few holes that would let players see out of the map in this Captura scene.

Player Cold Status & Arctic Eximus Rework

In this update we adjusted Arctic Eximus enemies to make them less punishing and make it easier to engage in counter-play. This led to some changes in the way that Cold Status affects players.

Player Cold Status Changes*

Before: Getting afflicted with Cold Status would result in a 25% slowdown with no stacking for a 6 second duration.

  • Now: Cold Status results in a 10% slowdown with an individual 6 second duration per stack, stacking up to 4 times for Players. (Players remain unable to be frozen solid)

This change results in an overall potential of having up to 40% speed reduction but does not halt player movement completely.

* These changes only apply to Cold Status against players (from sources such as environmental hazards and enemies), and does not alter how Cold Status affects enemies.

Arctic Eximus Changes

The Arctic Eximus has a unique application of the Cold Status effect. Under the previous system, the Arctic Eximus’ slowdown aura was invisible and much larger than their Globe suggested. Multiple Arctic Eximus auras could also overlap and apply their slowdown exponentially which made playing against them frustrating. To address this and to add more clarity to how their effects function we have made the following changes:

  • Arctic Eximus enemies no longer have an invisible slowdown aura, instead the area of effect of their Cold Status is limited to the inside of their Globe.
  • Arctic Eximus enemies now apply one stack of Cold Status per second if a player is inside their Globe.
  • While inside of their Globe, Cold Status will stack up to 4 times for Players without duration.
  • Cold Status from the Arctic Eximus is immediately removed if you leave the Globe, destroy the Globe, or kill the Eximus.

We believe that these changes will make taking on these enemies more engaging and will also reduce the frustration that may arise from being held in place by status effects. As with any change we are open to your feedback on this rework.

Mantle Animation Improvements

We’ve made improvements to mantling over surfaces so that it is faster and much more fluid!

  • Added new mantle animations to Warframes to improve the transition to mantle surfaces.
    • These new animations are Warframe-only and do not apply to Drifter/Operator as they do not have the same parkour speed and capabilities as their Transference counterparts.
    • Improved vault up/over logic to better detect if there’s a ledge to mantle and automatically give a small jump to get up to the ledge.
    • Improve the speed at which a mantle triggers so that there’s less delay between reaching a ledge and starting a mantle.
    • Mantle animation can now be canceled by crouching/sliding.
      • It will only interrupt the mantle at the time the binding is used and not while it is being held.
    • Improved how and when mantling triggers when performing other parkour movements around mantle surfaces.
    • Mantling is now possible while aim gliding.
    • Fixed an issue where the mantle animation would occur during ability casting animation and teleport you back to where the mantle occurred.
      • To prevent this, mantles will not trigger during casting animations anymore.
  • Drifter mantle improvements:
    • Drifter no longer plays that front flip up animation when mantling.
      • This animation would occur randomly and could make the transition feel clunky.
    • Fixed Drifter getting stuck up high when mantling.

Damage Numbers QOL

  • Added Damage Number Presets to the HUD settings: Default, Condensed, and Minimal
    • These Presets offer players a quick way to refine their Damage Number appearance if they don’t want to fiddle with individual settings.
      • Default: Full numbers, opacity and scale.
      • Condensed: Long numbers are truncated, number scale is smaller.
      • Minimal: Smaller number scale and reduced opacity, and truncated numbers.
    • Also added a one-time pop-up at the end of a mission if players deal over 100,000 damage that explains the damage number options available to them.
  • Improved Damage Number clustering for fast-firing weapons with Enhanced Damage Numbers enabled.
    • Now, new damage instances will push their numbers further away from the reticle to improve visibility on the target.
    • Also fixed cases of damage numbers appearing to fly outside of your screen with extreme zoom (8x Sniper Scopes, etc.).
  • Ranged Exalted Weapons (ex: Cyte 09’s Neutralizer, Ivara’s Artemis Bow, etc.) now use regular damage numbers with ability damage colors for non-critical hits.
    • Previously, Exalted damage could get very noisy when used on fast firing weapons so we’ve changed the numbers to improve readability.

Misc. QOL Improvements

  • Added a Fast Travel option to the Iron Wake Pause Menu to Palladino, Cressa Tal, and Clem.
  • Added an Enigma Sense upgrade to Acrithis’ Wares.
    • Purchasing this item will passively cause Enigma puzzles to be marked with a map icon and a waypoint if you are nearby. This is a one-time purchase that will permanently upgrade your Guiding Hand!
  • You can now access the Dark Refractory from the Sanctum Anatomica!
    • The staircase directly below Bird3 will take you to the Dark Refractory you saw in The Old Peace Quest. You can also fast travel to it using the quick access wheel!
  • Added a new Void icon beside healthbars that require Void damage to destroy (ex: spectral versions of Vomvalysts, Eidolon shields, etc.).
    • We introduced this with Hunhullus’ vulnerability to Void damage in The Old Peace and are now applying it to all other enemies and bosses.
  • Added a setting in POM-2 to disable the monthly kiss inbox messages received from Protoframes.
    • To access it, go to the POM-2. Select the gear icon in the bottom right to open up the POM-2 settings window. Check off the “Turn off monthly kiss inbox messages” to turn them off.
  • You can now open Chat settings from the new gear wheel icon in the Chat box.
  • Added a Slider option when selecting multiples of an item.
  • Deck 12 is now waypointed in the Exploiter – Deck 12 Bounty.
  • Changed the player icon in the Orb Vallis to be blue so it’s easier to see.
  • Roathe’s KIM Profile now displays how many Voicemails you have unlocked.
  • The following are no longer affected by the Visual Effects Intensity Slider to improve readability:
    • Fishing hotspots in the Orb Vallis
      • For players who like to keep this slider set to low, this made the hotspots incredibly difficult to see in the Orb Vallis. So we’ve removed this interaction to ensure hotspots are always visible.
    • The Void Mirror Duviri objective
  • The “Reduce Team Effects” toggle will now change players’ Energy color to their defaults.
    • This is to help with ally white VFX causing extreme glare and flickering even while the toggle was enabled.
  • The Arsenal Equip UI will now open up to the last selected Warframe/Weapon/Cosmetic/etc.
    • Example: If your last current was Lavos, opening the equip menu will now take you down to the “L” section where Lavos is.
  • You can now send yourself messages by clicking on your own alias in the chat UI and selecting the “Notes” option!
    • This acts as your own personal notepad! Chat link items to yourself, write down the checklist of items you want to farm for, maybe even leave yourself a little feel good message.
    • Anything you send in this chat window is saved locally, so each time you launch the game and open this “notepad” all of your notes will be there.
    • If you wish to remove any of the notes, simply select your name on the note you’d like to remove, and select the “Remove” button that pops up.

CHANGES

Warframe & Equipment Changes

  • Harrow’s Thurible energy per kill channeling now benefits from damage-over-time kills that were triggered by shooting an enemy in the head (similar to Cyte-09’s Evade).
  • Oraxia’s Scuttlers and Inaros’ Swarm Kavats now scale to the level of the enemy they were created from instead of defaulting to the mission level.
  • Tauron Strikes now break destructible environment objects!
  • Made the following changes to Volt’s abilities:
    • Speed’s increase to squadmates’ movement speed is now capped at 150% (remains uncapped for Volt).
      • This change was made after seeing consistent complaints from players about receiving the buff when they do not want it. We will however be watching for feedback to gauge player preference.
      • Friendly NPCs are not affected by this cap.
    • In addition to picking up Electric Shield with the context action, you can now also hold to cast for the shield to spawn in its mobile mode.
      • If this is done while already holding a shield, you will drop the existing one and it’ll be replaced by the new one.
  • Made the following changes and fixes to Vauban’s passive:
    • The damage bonus now applies to all Electricity and Heat Status Effects!
      • Electricity:
        • Previously, with the launch of Vauban’s retouch the passive only applied to the Electricity Status from his Tesla Nervos, but we intended for it to apply to other forms of incapacitation.
        • Now, when enemies are actively in the Electricity stun animation from any source, the passive will apply.
      • Heat: The passive triggers from enemies incapacitated by the panic animation.
    • Clarification on how Cold Status triggers the passive: Enemies need to be frozen solid (10 stacks) for the passive to consider them incapacitated.
    • The HUD buff will now show as x1.25 instead of percentage.
    • As mentioned with the Vauban Heirloom release, our hope was to ship the full version of his Passive changes with his Retouch, but due to technical constraints we have released them now!
  • Made the following changes to how Elemental Ammo is prioritized between Warframes with associated abilities.
    • Oraxia’s Toxin buff from Silken Stride is now prioritized over Cyte-09’s Resupply and Uriel’s Runes.
      • This also fixes the issue of Silken Stride’s Toxin buff getting removed and not being restored after Uriel’s Demonium Rune buff expires.
    • Cyte-09’s Resupply is now prioritized the same as Uriel’s Demonium.
      • Previously, Demonium would completely override and clear the selected Elemental ammo from Cyte-09’s Resupply.
      • Now, whichever one you picked up last will decide the active Elemental buff.
        • So if you pick up a Rune and then a Resupply pack, it will swap from the Rune buff to Resupply’s buff and vice versa.
        • Additionally, if you pick up a Resupply pack while Uriel’s Demonium Rune buff is active, it will swap to Resupply’s Elemental damage. But if the Rune buff is still active at the time that you reload/empty the clip, it will apply once more.
      • Known issue: Clients using Sobek’s Acid Shells Augment do not apply Resupply’s elemental damage. This requires further investigation from the team to address.
  • Updated Vauban’s Bastille ability description to better explain the rework.
    • Now reads: “Erect a containment field to capture enemies and suspend them in stasis, stripping their armor and granting it to Vauban and any allies within Bastille’s field.”
  • Made the following changes to the audio muffling effect when using invisibility Warframes (Cyte-09, Oraxia, Loki, and Ivara) with player feedback that it can be irritating over a sustained period of time:
    • Slightly reduced the intensity of the invisible audio muffling across the board.
    • Player weapons (Primary, Secondary, and Melee) will no longer be muffled while invisible.
  • Updated the description of Zid-An Asheir Arcane to specify that you get the Status Chance buff from Operator OR Tauron Strike kill (previously said “and”, which was causing confusion).

The Dark Refractory Changes

  • Made the following changes to the Perita Rebellion tileset:
    • Added three new Perita Rebellion tiles to the tileset generation!
  • Added a glow to cave entrances to make them more obvious/visible, as they were previously rather difficult to spot.
  • We also improved the objective marker pathing to cave entrance.
  • Volt Prime’s shield weak points now charge Incarnon weapons in The Perita Rebellion Vanguard fight.
  • Turned up the heat of Roathe’s Demonium in the Descendia fight – added more projectiles, increased the damage and made the radius bigger to encourage players to engage with the dome more.
  • Removed Commandeered Ash Prime’s Smoke Screen instakill attack in The Perita Rebellion.
    • This was clearly an unfair ability as players could not see Ash while he was attacking.
  • Commandeered Ash Prime no longer marks Companions during one of his attacks.

UI & HUD Changes

  • The “Skip Cinematic” popup will now change locations on the screen to avoid it covering important visuals in the cinematic.
  • Extraction markers in non-endless missions will now pulse every 30 seconds to make them more noticeable.
  • Increased the number of Status Effects per line on Boss Health Bars.
  • Updated the in-world pickup meshes for the following Resources to match their icons (they were previously using the generic resource drop model):
    • Oxium
    • Tellurium
    • Mutagen Sample
    • Detonite Ampule
    • Fieldron Sample
    • Steel Essence
  • Resource icons now appear in the Vendor purchase confirmation screen.
  • Stat windows in the UI that are 20+ lines long will now automatically move stats to a tabbed second page to improve readability.
  • Updated the Platinum purchase page in the Market with a new diorama that features your Warframe leaning against a tower of Platinum.
  • Updated the Junction Task UI to clearly indicate Tasks vs. Rewards to better communicate each column’s contents.

Graphic Improvements (NINTENDO SWITCH 2)

We have made the following game-wide graphics improvements that can be experienced on the Nintendo Switch 2! Note that these changes will not appear if shaders are set to low.

  1. Improved Sharpening
We replaced our previous sharpening system with AMD’s robust contrast aware sharpening, which as you can see in this before & after picture of Roathe has improved the look and realism of many details (less aliasing, skin looks more detailed, lips are more defined, etc.)

This also fixes issues with dark halos, which is most noticeable in this picture by the gold details, which have a more visual pop now!

Warframe – Ver. 41.1.1

  • Release date: February 12th/13th 2026
  • Patch notes:

Top Fixes:

  • Fixed KIM Ranks changing significantly after playing newly-recovered conversations.

    • Recovered conversations will remain but your rank will not change if you decide to engage with them.

    • This issue was introduced as a fix for those skipping ranks in The Devil’s Triad, locking them out of the (Spoiler) Reunion. Unfortunately, it had unintended effects and we apologize for the state that this fix shipped in.
  • Fixed being unable to remove unique Deluxe Attachments (ex: Kullervo Apostate’s Shoulder Spikes) on a Config if you purchased the skin via the Arsenal on that Config.
    • This fix does not address players already in this state, but you should be able to remove the attachment if you use a different Config.
  • Fixed the Dagath Yfari Skin not using custom Kaithe VFX when casting Rakhali’s Cavalry.

Vauban Changes and Fixes:

VAUBAN RETOUCH

With Vauban’s shiny new Heirloom Skin, it’s only fair for his kit to match his newly-buff exterior. Below is a full overview of Vauban’s “retouch” —  not a full rework, but rather some much-needed changes to make him more viable in 2026.

As part of this retouch, we have updated Vauban’s tips, including clarification on what Abilities scale with Enemy Level (Tether-Flechette, and Photon Strike).

Passive

  • Updated Vauban’s passive description to match how we communicate multiplicative damage: “Deal x1.25 Damage to incapacitated enemies”
  • Enemies affected by Electricity Status Effects from Tesla Nervos will also receive bonus damage via his Passive.
    • We are looking to expand this to shocks from all Electricity Status Effects, but this required more work than anticipated, meaning we couldn’t squeeze it in for the release of his Heirloom.

Ability One: Tesla Nervos

The following changes address our two main concerns: Tesla Nervos are hard to keep track of, and can be unreliable when targeting enemies.

  • Tesla Nervos’ Status Chance now scales with Power Strength.
  • AI Improvements:
    • Tesla Nervos will prioritize enemies who are outside of the range of other Nervos to spread their impact wider across the battlefield.
      • Since their Electricity Status effects now trigger Vauban’s passive, spreading out ensures more enemies are affected by this damage buff.
    • Improved targeting logic to avoid invalid targets; the coil will now switch to another target if they struggle to attach (notably for flying enemies).
    • Tesla Nervos can now target Ragdolled enemies in Bastille.
  • Nervos now attach to enemies on first contact.
  • Tesla Nervos’ shock now triggers immediately when latching on to a target.
  • Added a trail VFX to Tesla Nervos to help players track them better in-mission.

Augment – Tesla Bank:

  • Added a marker to enemies with a Nervos attached so players can more easily identify who to target.

Ability Two: Minelayer

Vauban’s Minelayer offers four different mines, but one has stood out among the rest: Flechette. Our goal is to keep the mechanics of the various mines within Vauban’s kit, but make them easier to access. Instead of having to cycle through 4 different mines, we are merging them into two mines: Tether-Flechette Orb (Tether Coil and Flechette) and Vector-Overdrive Pad (Vector Pad and Overdriver).

  • Merged Tether Coil and Flechette into one Mine with the following mechanics: Tether-Flechette Orb
    • Retained all existing Flechette mechanics.
    • The mine spawns tethers that pull enemies to it, and will search for new targets if their current target enters a Bastille.
    • This mine can stick to walls and ceilings.
    • Improved tether mechanic so enemies have less chance of getting stuck.
  • Merged Vector Pad and Overdrive into one Mine with the following mechanics: Vector-Overdrive Pad
    • Stepping on a Vector Pad now gives Overdriver buffs to any player (or Ally) who triggers them, meaning Vauban is no longer capped at 4 Overdriver buffs.
      • Player triggers also receive a 1.25x speed boost.
      • Speed and Damage buffs also now apply to the player’s Companion.
    • Enemies who step on this pad are lightly staggered after they are boosted off.
  • Changed Minelayer casting to work with the Tap/Hold mechanic (Tap for Tether-Flechette, and Hold for Vector-Overdrive)
    • This Ability works with the Invert Tap/Hold setting.
    • Removed special HUD element for swapping between Mines since that mechanic is no longer present in this ability.
  • Updated VFX and SFX for each mine to make it clear which one is being cast.

Ability Three: Photon Strike

Photon Strike is a flashy ability that is unfortunately overshadowed by other elements of Vauban’s kit (coughcough Flechette). The goal of our changes is to increase its overall damage output so players are incentivized to reach for it more often.

  • Damage changes:
    • Enemies impacted by the explosion now receive forced Blast Status Effects.
    • Photon Strike deals double damage to Overguard.
  • Reduced Energy cost to 50.
  • Increased blast radius from 5m to 7m.
  • Enemies trapped in Bastille no longer get thrown about by Photon Strike.
  • Reduced VFX intensity for squadmates.
  • Added new sound layers to Photon Strike’s cast SFX and added a new explosion sound.

Augment – Photon Repeater:

  • If Photon Strikes hits at least 5 enemies, the next cast will cost no Energy and fire two additional strikes.

Ability Four: Bastille

Vauban’s Bastille is an iconic element in his kit, but suffers from some outdated mechanics: namely the enemy cap, which heavily punishes those not investing in Ability Strength. These changes allow for Bastille to compete with other Crowd Control Abilities, and make its Armor Strip mechanic apply consistently to all enemies in its range.

  • Removed the enemy cap on how many enemies Bastille can hold.
    • To avoid possible performance or gameplay issues related to this change, we have capped the number of Bastilles/Vortexes that Vauban can create to 4 of each (cap of 4 Bastilles and 4 Vortexes).
      • Casting additional Bastilles/Vortexes will replace the oldest one.
  • Enemy Armor Strip applies to all enemies in Bastille’s range, not just those immobilized by the Bastille itself (including enemies who are ragdolled).
  • Increased the Armor Bonus Cap from 1,000 to 1,500.
    • Vauban and Allies receive Armor at double the rate if an Enemy’s Armor is actively being stripped by Bastille.
      • This was implied via one of Vauban’s Ability Tips, but this mechanic never really worked as written. Now it does!
  • Updated casting VFX and SFX to make it clearer whether Bastille (tap) or Vortex (hold) is being used.
  • Vortex’s Magnetic Status Effect now scales with Power Strength.
  • Reduced VFX intensity for squadmates.

Augment – Repelling Bastille:

  • Renamed to “Enduring Bastille”.
  • Removed the repelling mechanic as Bastille no longer has an enemy cap.
  • Killing an enemy in Bastille will now increase its duration by +2s.
    • The time increase scales with Duration, and the total bonus duration is capped at 2x of Bastille’s modded Duration.
  • Vortex’s duration is increased by 70% of its Maximum Duration for each additional Vortex thrown into it. (unchanged)

  • Patch notes:

  • Fixed Skin-specific armor not being removed when equipping a different armor piece in its slot.

Changes:

  • Made further improvements to Void Cascade spawns, especially when playing solo.
  • Removed the Spinnerex and Kestrel from being usable in Conclave, as they are not balanced for this gamemode.
  • Remastered various Hex kiss cinematics and the Table for Two cinematic in The New War to use new Drifter faces.

The Devil’s Triad KIM Changes and Fixes:
This hotfix brings a wide array of fixes and changes to address pain points in The Devil’s Triad KIM progression. Outside of the fixes, there are additional behind-the-scenes adjustments to help players who get “stuck” in conversations with certain Protoframes.

Many of these notes are vague to avoid spoilers so it may be unclear if these fixes apply to you — regardless, we’ve tried to cover as many issues that we could find:

  • Updated Roathe’s profile notes to be less confusing if players are Anathema after being Trusted.
  • Fixed players not being able to reunite the family if they missed a certain conversation with Roathe when he was Close.
    • We’ve added a similar conversation for those at Best Friends / Loved Rank so they can trigger this event.
    • Also added a conversation to Lyon at Best Friends to address other cases of players being in a failstate for the Reunion.
  • Fixed players being able to date Roathe without hitting the requirements, causing them to be Best Friends while also in a Romance.
    • Players in this state will have their Rank reverted to Close and will see an Anathema label in his Profile to indicate that key checkpoints have not been reached. If you are affected by this, we recommend spending more time in Descendia, or speak to Marie or Lyon for assistance.
  • Fixed missing response options in a KIM Chat with Roathe, leaving the Drifter to only reply [end].
  • Fixed a case of one of Roathe’s conversations not starting while Close.
  • Fixed Roathe’s profile notes not being updated properly if players moved him out of Anathema, causing players to think they needed to reset when they didn’t need to.
    • This hotfix has shipped an account update to clear the incorrect note for players in this state.
  • Fixed an edge-case of Lyon not speaking to players if they managed to get enough Chemistry to skip from Friendly to Trusted with Marie.
  • Fixed Lyon’s rank sometimes changing to Friendly once he has agreed to a Romance.
    • Players in this state should see their rank update properly to Close or Loved (depending on your Chemistry).
  • Fixed Marie missing default profile notes while Trusted, which was leading to some  confusion.
  • Fixed Marie sending players to talk to Roathe despite that conversation not being available, resulting in a dead-end.

  • Fixed an animation pop in Roathe’s kiss cinematic.

Top Fixes:
