Yesterday, SEGA announced that a new entry in the 7th Dragon series was in development, for the Nintendo 3DS, and that it would come out on October 15th in Japan. The game is called 7th Dragon III: Code VFD, and it’s featured in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine. It’s thanks to that very magazine that we got the first details about the game a few hours after the announcement, and before the livestream on Saturday.

Now that the digital edition of the magazine is available, Famitsu has reaveled the very first official screenshots and artworks for 7th Dragon III: Code VFD. They don’t show much, just some environments, what seems to be a cutscene and a battle against a red dragon.
