7th Dragon III: Code VFD announced for the Nintendo 3DS, out on October 15th in Japan

Today, SEGA made a surprising announcement that is bound to please fans of the 7th Dragon series. On October 15th, a brand new entry will be released in Japan, and it’s for the Nintendo 3DS. There’s barely any details available at the moment, just a list of people working on the game:

– Direction: Masayuki Kawabata (Phantasy Star Zero)
– Production: Juro Watari (Virtual On series)
– Chara-design: Shirow Miwa
– Scenario: Sou Yoda (7th Dragon 2020 series, Stella Glow)
– Music: Yuzo Koshiro
– Theme song: sasakure.UK.

However, more details about the game will be revealed this Saturday (July 4th), on NicoNico. The presentation will be livestreamed at:

– Europe: 12PM
– UK: 11PM
– North America (EDT): 6AM
– North America (PDT): 3AM
– Japan: 7PM

What’s more, there’s also a special campaign on the official website. If enough people re/tweet the following messages, some rewards will be unlocked:
