7th Dragon III: Code VFD: some additional details, from Famitsu magazine

A few hours ago, SEGA announced that a new entry in the 7th Dragon Series would come out on the Nintendo 3DS, this year in Japan (on October 15th to be more precise). A livestream on Saturday will allow us to learn more about the game, but it looks like we’ll be getting some details from Famitsu magazine before that.

Apparently, 7th Dragon III: Code VFD will take place in the past, the present, and the future, and is described as the “end of the play” by Famitsu magazine. The game will allow players to customise their character with 8 different classes, 32 appearances (a record for the series), and 40 battle voices.

The three different settings of the game (past, present and future) also has an impact on gameplay itself, as the 8 jobs are divided between those. According to Famitsu, development has progressed really well: the game is (reportedly) 77% complete at the time of writing.

We should get more details about 7th Dragon III: Code VFD from Famitsu magazine before the end of the week.
