A note about server slowdowns
Ever since we launched Perfectly Nintendo, back in February 2015, we haven’t had that many issues with the server. Of course, we’ve had a couple spots of trouble here and there, but nothing major that would hinder browsing on a long period of time.
Unfortunately, this changed last week, when we started getting issues. As you’ve probably noticed, the server can sometime be extremely slow to load for several hours in a row. For some reason, that issue pops back up once a day, but has been getting worse each day (lasting longer and longer).
We have tried quite a few things to find out what was causing those slowdowns, but to no avail. The problem is, even though we have contacted them a few days ago, the hosting company has been… less than helpful. As in, we’re still waiting to hear back from them.
We are still trying to find a way to fix those slowdowns on our own, and we would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by them. They are equally frustrating for you than for us, as they prevent us from providing our usual coverage.
