Capcom: line-up for Jump Festa 2016

Update

Capcom has updated its special page for the Jump Festa 2016, and confirms that Ace Attorney 6 will indeed be playable (at first, it said there would only be a stage show). Unfortunately, we do not know if the demo will be the same as the one from the Tokyo Game Show 2015 (it’s quite likely).

Capcom Jump Festa 2016Today, Capcom revealed its line-up for Jump Festa 2016, which is taking place on December 19th and 20th in Japan. For those who don’t know, Jump Festa is a special event dedicated to the franchises from the various Jump magazines. It’s mostly about mangas and anime series, but video game publishers are more and more present every year, partly due to the shared audience between the Jump mangas/animes and video games.

Capcom will once again attend the Jump Festa this year, and will bring several playable games. The line-up is quite similar to the one for the Tokyo Game Show 2015, with the exception of Ace Attorney 6 which is apparently not playable. That being said, the game will get a stage show, though we don’t know what Capcom is going to reveal there.

Here’s Capcom’s line-up for the Jump Festa 2016 (Nintendo platforms only):

  • Monster Hunter X (Nintendo 3DS): playable, stage show
  • Monster Hunter Stories (Nintendo 3DS): playable, stage show
  • Ace Attorney 6 (Nintendo 3DS): playable, stage show

Since the Jump Festa 2016 is still quite far away (over two months), there’s no doubt we should have more information about Capcom’s plans for the event in the upcoming weeks.

Monster Hunter X (3DS) comes out on November 28th in Japan.
Monster Hunter Stories (3DS) comes out next year in Japan.
Ace Attorney 6 (3DS) comes out next year in Japan. The European and North American releases have already been confirmed.
