Yo-kai Watch: Prima guide, StreetPass puzzle, videos

Yo-kai Watch

Yo-kai Watch guide

Yo-kai Watch comes out in less than two weeks in North America, and just like most major releases nowadays, it’s going to get a guide by Prima. But unlike Xenoblade Chronicles X or The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, there will not be a Collector’s Edition for it, only a Standard Edition.

It will cost $22.49 (at least, on Amazon.com), and include the following:

Find hidden Yo-kai: With the power of the Yo-kai Watch, find and befriend more than 200 hidden Yo-kai and call upon their powers when you need their help.

Critical skills and strengths: Each Yo-kai has its own unique skills and strengths. Use strategy to assemble your team to address different problems and fight evil Yo-kai.

Upgrade strategies: Make your Yo-kai Watch more powerful and upgrade your Yo-kai while playing through the story.

Defeat evil: Assemble the best team of six Yo-kai in your watch to defeat evil and help people in need.

Free mobile-friendly eGuide! Includes a code to access the eGuide, a digital version of the complete strategy guide optimized for a second-screen experience.

TV Commercial

Yo-kai Watch is a real phenomenom in Japan, and Nintendo certainly hopes the Yo-kai Watch Mania will also catch in North America. The company isn’t afraid to promote it, and even prepare (at least) one TV Commercial for it. It’s part live-action, part gameplay footage, and shows a bunch of Yo-kai playing pranks on some innocent people.

Here’s the TV Commercial:

StreetPass puzzle

If you live in North America, you should definitely check out your StreetPass Mii Plaza: a brand new puzzle is now available. To complete this one, you will need 40 different pieces, including 8 pink pieces. It should be released next year in Europe, as we get closer to the European release of the game.

Videos

Finally, here’s two videos. The first one introduces Jibanyan:

The second one is a TV Commercial for Yo-kai Watch Busters: Getto-gumi, in Japan:

Yo-kai Watch (3DS) comes out on November 6th in North America, December 5th in Australia, and next year in Europe.
Yo-kai Watch Busters Getto-gumi (3DS) comes out on December 12th in Japan, as a free Software update.
