Good news for Xenoblade Chronicles fans: the long-awaited artbook for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has finally been announced! Its official title is Xenoblade 3 Official Artworks Aionos Moments, and its contents cover both the main game and the Future Redeemed expansion. It will be released on April 1st in Japan, courtesy of Kadokawa and Kadokawa LINKAGE.

Xenoblade 3 Official Artworks Aionos Moments costs 4,400 Yen, and is now available for pre-order (including on Amazon JP, which offers international shipping).

This artbook offers 448 pages (A4 format) filled to the brim with artworks and other design documents for both the main game and the expansion, text documents (including all Rest Spot discussions and Affinity Scenes, etc.), a roundtable discussion with the developers, and even an interview of Masatsugu Saito and CHOCO.

The cover was drawn by none other than Masatsugu Saito, who served as main character designer for the game and its expansion.

And starting today and until January 26th, Dengeki is asking fans to submit questions and messages for the development team at Monolith Soft.. If you’re fluent in Japanese, you can click here to check out the survey.

Here’s examples of questions from the survey:

  • What are your thoughts on the setting and story?
  • Please share your favourite cutscene.
  • What lines of dialogue left the strongest impression on you?
  • Which hairstyle did you pick for Mio?
  • Share a message with the developers.

Answers submitted via this survey will be discussed by the development team in the Monolith Soft. Development Team Roundtable, in the book!
