Theatrhythm Dragon Quest to get some free DLC, but no 3D

Today, Square-Enix released the demo version for Theatrhythm Dragon Quest, on the Japanese Nintendo eShop. Like pretty much all demos, it can only be played a certain number of times: 30. Apparently, players can also get some special items for Dragon Quest X via the Dragon Quest X Convenient Tool For Adventurers On the Go application for the Nintendo 3DS.

Square-Enix also confirmed that Theatrhythm Dragon Quest would get additional tracks, and that some of them would actually be free. We don’t know if all DLC will indeed be free, or just a selection of tracks, but more details should be revealed in the upcoming weeks. Also, Nintendo’s official website confirms that the game can have up to 2 save files, but won’t have stereoscopic 3D: players will have to play in 2D!

Here’s some additional screenshots for the game:

Theatrhythm Dragon Quest (3DS) comes out on March 26th in Japan.
