The Super Mario Bros. Movie: latest clip shows Cat Mario

Yesterday, Universal and Illumination shared a brand new clip for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie. This one shows more of the fight between Mario and Donkey Kong, and reveals that the Super Ball power-up makes an appearance in the movie.

Right now, it’s not clear whether Cat Mario will plays a major role in the movie, or if other characters will also get to use the Super Bell power-up.

And in case you missed it, here’s the previous clip for the movie, which was shown at the Game Awards in December. This one gives us a good look at the Mushroom King, and the myriad references the production team was able to cram in the movie.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie comes out on April 7th in the United States, and April 28th in Japan.
