The Legend of Zelda: new manga by Akira Himekawa to be launched this year

If you’re a fan of the Zelda series, you’ve definitely heard of Akira Himekawa: it’s the name of a mangaka duo, who is behind the various manga adaptations of several games in the series. Their last manga for Zelda was the adaptation of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, in 2008 (though they did draw a prologue for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, published in the Hyrule Historia book).

And today, Akira Himekawa announced that the Zelda manga series was making a come-back later this year. The duo has already started drawing the manga, but they didn’t tell which game it was based on (though it’s quite likely The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes). Fans are invited to find out which version of Link will appear in this manga (toon, child, adult?)!
