TASaturday #20 – Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (SNES)

For the TASaturday #20, we picked up a game from a genre we never showcased previously: fighting games. And we didn’t pick up just any fighting game, we went with one of the most (in)famous series: Mortal Kombat, with Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on the SNES.

Indeed, today’s Tool Assisted Speedrun is one of the “OMG WTF is happening?!11one” types, and more precisely a “playaround” run. What this means is that the TASer didn’t try to beat the game as fast as possible: in fact, this particular TAS is roughly 14 minutes longer than the previous one for this game.

As mentionned in the video description on TASVideos.org, bugs, easter eggs and impossible combos are shown off at a breathtaking pace in one incredible and entertaining Tool Assisted Speedrun. Even if you’re not a fan of fighting games, and especially one as violent as  Mortal Kombat, you should still watch this one!

Here’s the TAS of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on SNES, by SDR, TheVLACKDEMONN2294 and Dark Noob:

We hope you enjoyed this TASaturday #20. See you next week!
