Tallowmere coming to Wii U; trailer and screenshots
On September 1st, North American players will be able to discover Tallowmere: a 2D action/dungeon/platformer, with permadeath. Your goal in this game is to clear as many rooms as possible. Naturally, said rooms are filled to the brims with enemies!
Thankfully, there’s plenty of weapons for use to use to get rid of those enemies: axes, clubs, katanas, daggers, ice wands, grenades, rocket launchers, flamethrowers, and more.
Tallowmere can be played in Single Player, but also in Multiplayer (local only, with up 4 players in split-screen). There’s also a local leaderboards, and some achievements for players looking for an even more challenging experience.
As far as controllers go, Tallowmere can be played with the following:
- Wii U GamePad (required for Single Player, and one of the players in Multiplayer)
- Wii U Pro Controller
- Wii Classic Controller

- Infinite number of randomly-generated rooms;

- Tactical shield blocking;
- Local high score board and achievements;
- Challenge modes;
- Sacrificial kittens.
