Taiko Drum Master: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure: first screenshots

This year, the Taiko Drum Master will get its third entry on Nintendo 3DS. After “Chibi Dragon to Fushigi na Orb” in July 2012, Don to Katsu no Jikuu Daibouken in June 2014, “Dokodon! Mystery Adventure” will be released on June 16th in Japan.

Just like the previous entry, Taiko Drum Master: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure will have a RPG-like mode, called “Mystery Adventure”. Don and Katsu will travel around the world, facing various mysteries. Of course, the typical rhythm gameplay the series is known for will be there.

But there’s more: Taiko Drum Master: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure will also feature a collaboration with the Ace Attorney series. There will be a medley of popular song (from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy), but Phoenix Wright will be one of Don’s partners in the game!

Now that the latest issue of the magazine is available in Japan (the digital version), Famitsu has shared some screenshots on its website:
