Super Robot Wars BX: new characters and mechas, NES game as first-print bonus

On the Super Robot Wars BX website, Bandai-Namco ran a special campaign: the more people pre-ordered the game, the more “goodies” would be unlocked (such as a bonus map and a Nintendo 3DS Theme). One of them is a NES game, which will be available with all first-print copies of the game, called The 2nd Super Robot Taisen (which originally came out in 1991).

But that’s not all: Bandai-Namco has also updated the game’s official website. Several new characters (and their respective mecha) has been revealed, and they’re from the following franchises:

– Matchless Raijin-Oh
– Mobile Suit Gundam AGE
– Macross 30: Voices across the Galaxy
– Mazinkaizer SKL
– Martian Successor Nadesico

Here’s over 30 new screenshots for the game:

Super Robot Wars BX (3DS) comes out on August 20th in Japan.
