Super Mario Run: Nintendo Minute, random Shigeru Miyamoto video

Super Mario Run is a mobile game that was primarily designed to be played with only one hand. In fact, it’s something Shigeru Miyamoto himself mentioned back when the game was announced, in September. Naturally, this is for players who play on their smartphone while commuting, where you often can’t use both your hands.

And in the latest episode of Nintendo Minute, Kit and Krysta not only get to play Super Mario Run, but they also try to do so with one hand, while doing something else!

Hi, today is a really special day because we got a chance to play Super Mario Run! We also wanted to give ourselves a little challenge. You might remember that Mr. Miyamoto said that this is a game you can play with one hand so we thought it would be fun to see if we can do something else with the other hand while playing the game. It gets a little crazy but it was also super fun. Don’t forget that there is a special demo of Super Mario Run at Apple Stores so go check it out if you want a taste before the game launches for iPhone and iPad on Dec. 15. As always, thanks so much for watching and we’ll see you next week!

Also, Shigeru Miyamoto was at the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday evening, promoting Super Mario Run. In a special video uploaded on YouTube, he tries to guess the size of random objects, which is apparently something he’s been doing for about 10-20 years!

Here’s the video:

Super Mario Run (iOS) comes out on December 15th worldwide. The Android version will follow at a later date.
