Super Mario Maker: a trailer filled with nostalgia

A few minutes ago, Nintendo revealed a new trailer for Super Mario Maker, which starts by highlighting famous scenes from the following games:

– Super Mario Bros. (1985)
– Super Mario Bros. 3 (1991)
– Super Mario World (1992)
– New Super Mario Bros. U (2012)

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, you’ve already noticed those as are the games from which the various “styles” in Super Mario Maker are from.  After this short (and incomplete) retrospective of the Mario series, the trailer shows various (insane) levels made in Super Mario Maker, and using the four styles mentionned above.

Super Mario Maker (Wii U) comes out on September 10th in Japan, and Septembe 11th in Europe and North America.
