Just like in Story of Seasons, you will be able to keep a pet in Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns. You can play with them, take a stroll together, participate in contests, have them help with farm work, and more. You can keep several pets, but you can chose one as your “soulmate”, and get special events.

Of course, there’s several types of pets in the game: cats, dogs, and even capybaras (there’s also a special pet: Hamtaro, but unfortunately, XSEED confirmed it will not be in the western version). In total, there’s 28 different types of pets!

Today, Marvelous shared a list of pets you will be able to keep in Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns on Nintendo 3DS:

Dogs

Tosa, Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dog, Weimaraner, Husky, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Bull Terrier, Border Collie, Tibetan Mastiff, Russell Terrier, Dachshund, Beagle, Shiba Inu, Chihuahua.

Cats

Siamese cat, American Shorthair, Tabby cat, Bengal cat, Black cat, Maine Coon, Scotty, Himalayan cat, Tortoiseshell cat, White cat.

Capybara
