Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns – New update available (Ver. 1.3), new marriage candidates, 3DS theme

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns (released as Bokujou Monogatari: 3tsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi in Japan) was released back in June in Japan, but Marvelous isn’t done releasing updates for the game. Today, a new one was made available, and just like the previous one, it includes some brand new content (not just bug fixes).

Here’s what’s included in Ver. 1.3 of the game:

• two new marriage candidates: Stephanie (host of the festivals) and Woofio (an animal trainer, and judge of the Animal Festival);
• new events for Inarichama (secret marriage candidate);
• various bug fixes and adjustments meant to make the game easier to play.

But that’s not all: to celebrate the launch of this update, Marvelous has released a special Nintendo 3DS Theme in Japan. On the top screen, the scrolling picture showcases the various villagers, while on the bottom screen, we find a picture of the female protagonist and the three villages.

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns (3DS) comes out next year in North America (and most likely Europe too). It’s pretty likely the western version of the game will include all updates from the get-go (in fact, the changes included were most likely made with the western markets in mind in the first place).
