Story of Seasons: new details and screens for the latest entry (relationships, more)

On Monday, Marvelous shared some additional details and screenshots for Bokujou Monogatari 3tsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi (the latest entry in the Story of Seasons series). This time, the focus is on relationships, with some new marriage candidates, and explanations on how relationships work in the game.

Let’s start with the new marriage candidates:

Iuka: she’s from Lulucoco, and runs a teahouse by the beach. She’s also a shrine maiden, who possess some mysterious powers. She may be pretty strong-minded, she has has a bright personality, and everyone in the village is pretty fond of her. If you want to meet her, try her teahouse, or her home. Iuka is Siuka’s older twin sister.
Siuka: she’s also from Lulucoco, and runs the teahouse by the beach with her older twin sister. Just like Iuka, she’s a shrine maiden with mysterious powers. She’s quite knownledgeable when it comes to medicinal herbs, and she tends to do things her own, but she’s also prone to spacing out. Want to find her? Go look at the teahouse or the beach.
Ludeus: another marriage candidate from Lulucoco. The reason Marvelous is introducing him at the same time as Iuka and Siuka is not just because they’re from the same village, but also because they happen to be childhood friends. All the kids from the village are pretty fond of him. Given the right materials and tools, he will do just about anything: renovating houses, making farm circles, and more. He’s often found doing inspections around Lulucoco.

Next, we get some details about relationships in the game, which work pretty much the same way as in the previous entries. For starters, you need to become friends with the person you want to marry. To do so, you need to talk to them regularly, and offer them presents. Make sure you don’t give them any old thing you find, as your affinity rate will drop if you give them something they don’t like.

Once your relationship has reached a certain level, you can confess using a pendant. When you’re into a lover relationship with someone, you get to enjoy various romantic events with them. Of course, when your relationship has progressed even further, it’s time for you and your sweetheart to get married. You can even chose to have children, if you want.
