Story of Seasons: first screenshots for the new game on Nintendo 3DS

Story of Seasons 2Yesterday, we learned from Famitsu that Marvelous was working on a new Story of Seasons game for the Nintendo 3DS. It will be released in Early Summer in Japan, in order to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Harvest Moon series (now known as Story of Seasons in Europe and North America).

This new Story of Seasons game is called Bokujou Monogatari 3-tsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi (lit: “Story of Seasons: Precious Friends from the Three Villages), and it just got its first screenshots! Now that Famitsu is available in Japan (the digital edition), those screenshots have been uploaded on its official website. Unfortunately, they don’t show much.

We get to see the protagonist growing some vegetables (such as tomoatoes), and milking a cow. The screens also allow us to get a sneak peak of the three villages of the game:

  • Rurukoko Village
  • Tsuyukusa Village
  • Westown

Here’s the first screenshots for Bokujou Monogatari 3-tsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi:

If you want to see more of the game, here’s some scans for the game. They show more characters: Miranda, Richette, and Wayne, along with some activities (farming, fishing, and more). It looks like you can take care of pet animals (cats, dogs), too.

Bokujou Monogatari 3-tsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi (3DS) comes out in Early Summer in Japan. Development is currently 80% complete.
