Splatoon: two new weapons to be added in a few hours
When Nintendo detailed the first major Software update for Splatoon, in July, they made it pretty clear that new content (maps and weapons) for Splatoon would still be added to the game on a regular basis. The point is obviously to keep players interested, so that they keep on playing without getting bored with the same weapons and maps.
Since the Ver. 2.0.0 update, new additions have been taking place only once a week (on Saturday morning / Friday evening, most of the time), as opposed to twice a week before the update. This week, it will be on Saturday morning (as usual), with not one but two brand new weapons: the Custom Range Blaster and the Custom E-litre 3K Scope!
Custom Range Blaster
A customised Range Blaster, with the same stats.
- Sub Weapon: Splat Bombs
- Special Weapon: Kraken
Custom E-litre 3K Scope
Basically, a Custom E-liter 3K with a scope, but with the stats of the E-liter 3K Scope, and the same charge time as the Custom E-liter 3K.
- Sub Weapon: Squid Beakon
- Special Weapon: Kraken
Here’s some pictures for those two new weapons:
The Custom Range Blaster and the Custom E-litre 3K Scope weapons will be added on Saturday morning, at the usual time:
- Europe: 4AM
- UK: 3AM
- North America (EDT): 10PM (Friday evening)
- North America (DPT): 7PM (Friday evening)
- Japan: 11AM
Finally, a note about the next Splatfest for Europe: it will take place next week. Nintendo confirmed that voting would starting on Saturday at 11AM BT / 12PM CET, which means that the actual Splatfest should take place on Saturday, October 17th from 6PM BT / 7PM CET!
