Splatoon: tweet and pic of the day (April 9th)

Today, the Squid Research Lab posted one message on the official Twitter account for Splatoon, in order to introduce a brand new enemy. It’s called Takodiver (lit. Octodiver), and as the name implies, it can dive in ink.

Therefore, the researcher has a rather useful piece of advice for young adventurers playing through the Hero Mode for the first time. If you find a pool of ink, make sure one of those little scuba-wearing buggers isn’t hiding inside it!

… wait a minute, why is an octopus wearing a tuba? Can’t they breathe under water thanks to their gills? This oddity seems rather puzzling to the poor Squid Research Lab researcher!

Splatoon (Wii U) comes out on May 28th in Japan, and May 29th in Europe and North America.
