Splatoon: results of the first Japanese SplatFest

SplatFest are special events that will take place regularly in Splatoon. During those, players have to answer a question (such as “Do you prefer cats or dogs?”), before joining a team depending on their answer. At the end of each SplatFest, the team with the most points win.

The first SplatFest for Japan ended a few minutes ago (at 6PM JST), and the question asked was “Which do you prefer for breakfast? Rice of Bread”? So… who won?

The official results are in, and were announced a few minutes ago on the official Twitter account for Splaton: Team Rice won with 57.3%, while Team Bread ended up with 42.7%!

Nintendo also apologised for the connection errors that some users experienced during the SplatFest (at the beginning). Apparently, those errors were more common among players from the Rice Team (maybe because there was more of them?) than those from the Bread Team.

Don’t forget: the first SplatFest for North America will take place on June 20/21, while the SplatFest for Europe will take place on June 27/28!
