Splatoon: livestream recording, commercials, screenshots

Earlier this morning (or last night, if you live in North America!), the first play session for Splatoon Global Testfire (the demo for the game) went live. Did you get to finally try out the game? If you missed this first play session, don’t worry: there’s two more taking place later today (click here for more details!).

Along with the first play session for Splatoon Global Testfire, Nintendo of America also ran a special livestream with some of the Nintendo Treehouse team. They got to showcase the game and played it with other participants from the Splatoon Global Testfire!

If you missed the livestream, no need to worry… the full recording has been uploaded to YouTube:

But that’s not all: Nintendo of America has also uploaded another commercial on its Family Channel. Here it is:

Next, here’s the first TV commercial for the game in Japan. While it doesn’t show one second of gameplay, it’s still a rather neat commercial!

Don’t forget: Nintendo will also have a Japanese livestream in a couple of hours (click here for more details)!

And finally, here’s some screenshots from Famitsu:

Splatoon (Wii U) comes out on May 28th in Japan, and May 29th in Europe and North America.
