Splatoon: 2016 Summer Sale @ Tower Records
Last month, Nintendo made several announcements for Splatoon on the very day of the game’s first anniversary. One of them was mysterious teaser from Tower Records, and we finally know what it’s for: the Splatoon 2016 Summer sale! From June 24th to July 24th, various Splatoon-related goodies and merchandise will be available for purchase, such as:
- t-shirts
- cleaning clothes
- shopping bags
- glasses
- badges
- candies
- special version of the Splatune album (Limited Edition with Squid Sisters stickers)
- and more…
There’s also going to be a Splatoon backpack and an ink tank water bottle, but those two will not be available for purchase. You will have to get scratch cards for that. If you’re lucky, you will end up with one of the 50 backpacks or one of the 1 500 water bottles available during this promotion.
What’s more, it looks like this Splatoon x Tower Records collaboration will end up in the game, with special clothing items. Unfortunately, it’s not clear when they will be added to the game, or if Europe and North America will also get them. No doubt we will hear more about that in the upcoming days, as this Splatoon x Tower Records collaboration starts on June 24th!
