Sonic Superstars is a 2D side-scrolling platformer that offers a fresh “Classic Sonic” experience with brand new zones and music tracks. It can be played with up to 4 players (via offline multiplayer), with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy as playable characters. Use unique abilities to foil Dr. Eggman and Fang’s nefarious plans!

Among the new features, there’s a power called “Emerald Powers”, that you can unleash once you have collected all the Chaos Emeralds hidden in each Zone. Emerald Powers refers to various powers such as the ability to swim up waterfalls for example.

Sonic Superstars (Switch) does not have a release date yet, but is slated for a Fall release worldwide.
