Shin Megami Tensei V: more characters and demons revealed, English cast reveal trailer

Atlus have shared some more details and pictures for Shin Megami Tensei V, revealing a few more characters and demons.

Here’s the new characters:

  • Khonsu (from the Egyptian branch of Bethel), voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama
  • Vasuki (from the Indian branch of Bethel), voiced by Fuminori Komatsu
  • Zeus (from the Greek branch of Bethel), voiced by Subaru Kimura
  • Odin (from the Nordic branch of Bethel), voiced by Atsuji Miyauchi
  • Nuwa, voiced by Ayana Taketatsu

And the new demons are:

  • Idun
  • Sukuna-Hikona
  • Adramelech
  • Aitvaras
  • Kaya-no-Hime
  • Mara
  • Amon

Also, Atlus have announced that free DLC will be available at launch: it adds a new difficulty option, called Safety. As the name implies, it’s an even easier difficulty option than Casual, and it’s perfect for players who aren’t too familiar with RPGs. This brings the total number of difficultu options to 4 (Safety, Casual, Normal, and Hard).

Do note that Hard is only available when you start a new playthrough. You can switch the difficulty level at any time during the game, but there’s an exception for Hard: if you switch from Hard to Normal (or lower), you cannot switch back to Hard. No cheesing out on that particularly tough boss battle!

Finally, here’s the English Cast Reveal trailer:

Shin Megami Tensei V (Switch) comes out on November 11th in Japan, and November 12th in Europe and North America.
