She Wants Me Dead (rhythm platformer) claws its way to Nintendo Switch this week

RedDeerGames have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: She Wants Me Dead, a 2D rhythm platformer developed by Hello There Games. It will launch on October 20th in Japan (with an English language option) and on October 21st in Europe and North America.

Here’s a trailer for the game:

And if you’re interested, here’s the music video of the song featured in the trailer (“She Wants Me Dead ft. The High (CAZZETTE vs. AronChupa)” by CAZETTE)

In this game, you get to play as Max: a pretty poor pet owner who gets to discover first hand just how dangerous it maybe to anger a cat… especially if said cat also happens to be a master engineer. You have to guide him through various levels filled with deadly traps set by Max’s cat.

Here’s some more details, the list of key features for the game, and some screenshots:

Did you think cats are cute and sweet creatures that just want you to stroke them? You’ve never been more wrong… Be careful how you treat your cat. Max has upset his cat Lula very much. Now she is extremely angry and Max has to jump and run, because if Lula gets him then … she will have no mercy… Be quick, avoid Lula’s elaborate deadly traps in this extremely challenging platformer, and save Max from his cat’s wrath.

Angering your cat is never a good idea. It’s even worse, if your pet turns out to be a maniacal genius. Help Max escape from his fate and survive this purrfect punishment.

Lula is just an average cat who happens to be a master engineer. Her traps are intricate and require your full focus. Expect no mercy and lots of surprises.

Sink into the world of She Wants Me Dead thanks to the incredible soundtrack. The rhytm is the key to Max’s survival. If you let it lead you, he might see the light of day. This 2D platformer-rhytm game will not make it easy on you.
