Senran Kagura 2: a look at the first English build

Today, Marvelous Europe gave a second update for their pre-order campaign, with a look at the very first English build of Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson. Of course, the localisation is far from being over: the screenshots and the video below are from the Beta version of the English build. Therefore, they’re not representative of the final product.

First, there’s some English screenshots:

Next, here’s a look at the flowchart the localisation team used to make the game accessible to team members not really familiar with Japanese. After all, before localisation started, the team had to play the game first, and not everyone is fluent enough in Japanese to find their way around in the game.

Be careful: the file is really big (almost 10MB), so if you’re reading this on your smartphone, you might want to avoid clicking on the picture!

Right now, the team is busy improving the English build, and more precisely the appearance of the text in-game, fixing bugs encountered in testing, etc..
