Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 coming out on June 24th in Europe

A few days ago, the ACB (Australian Classification Board) rated the third entry in the Samurai Warriors Chronicles spin-off series. Unfortunately, there was a catch: only the PS Vita version was rated, which implied that Koei-Tecmo was only planning to release this version in the West.

But it turns out that both versions of the game will be released in the West, at least in Europe. Koei-Tecmo has just revealed its line-up for the MCM Comic Con London, and Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 on Nintendo 3DS / PS Vita is one of the games that will be showcased on its booth (where you will also be able to purchase the Hyrule Warriors artbook, Triforce clock and Treasure Box!). Unfortunately, it will not be playable.

We don’t have more information for now, and we don’t know the price of the game, or whether it will be a Nintendo eShop exclusive or not. Since this localisation was announced barely a month before release, it’s quite likely there will not be any retail release at all, but this remains to be confirmed. Also, we don’t know if the Hyrule Warriors DLC (some costumes) will be available in the West.

We should be getting a trailer, some screenshots and more information (including details about the Australian and North American releases) in the upcoming days.
