Sales milestones: Dead Cells / Pokémon series / The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Motion Twin has announced that Dead Cells has sold over 10 million units since its early access launch on PC, back in 2017. That number includes all copies sold across platforms, worldwide. No regional or platform breakdown was provided, unfortunately.

Since launch, the game has received a total of 34 free updates since launch (+ 4 paid DLCs), with more on the way: the developers promise further updates through 2025!

Pokémon series

The Pokémon Company have updated the “About” page on their corporate website, revealing two impressive stats about the Pokémon series:

  • video games: over 480 million units shipped as of March 31st, 2023 (+40 million units since last year)
  • trading card games: over 52.9 billion cards manufactured as of March 31st, 2023 (+9.7 billion cards since last year)

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

CD Projekt Red has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has now sold over 50 million units since launch. That number includes retail and digital sales across all platforms and regions (unfortunately, no breakdown is provided).
