Rocket League releasing on November 14th, special Nintendo Minute

After many months of waiting, the match if about to kick off on Nintendo Switch. Yesterday, Psyonix announced that Rocket League would be released next month, on November 14th to be precise! This version of the game will cost $19.99 / 19.99€, and will support all the console’s play modes (including wireless multiplayer).

There’s also the Mario, Luigi, and Samus Battle-Cars, that are Nintendo Switch exclusives, and first need to be unlocked through regular gameplay… they won’t be handed to you like candies on Halloween, that’s for sure!

Feature-wise, Rocket League will not be lagging behind other platforms: it will have all the content, features, and modes available in the other versions of the game. What’s more, multiplayer will support cross-platform play with PC and Xbox One.

To celebrate this announcement, Nintendo uploaded a special episode of Nintendo Minute. In this one, Kit and Krysta go visit Psyonix Studios, where they get an exclusive look at the Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League.

Hi! Very early with this week’s episode but we’re so excited to take trip to Psyonix Studios to take a look at Rocket League coming for Nintendo Switch. We take a tour, sit down, and play some Rocket League! Explore some of the cool new Nintendo elements the development team added to the game! Be sure to stay tuned to the end of the video for a special announcement. We hope you have a great week and as always thanks so much for watching and we’ll see you next Friday!
