Today, Bandai-Namco is hosting a special livestream for Pokkén Tournament. As announced previously, some new playable characters were revealed during the stream:
– Weavile, which has a rather speedy and agressive fighting style
– Charizard, which can Mega Evolve (just like Lucario and Gardevoir), and become Mega Charizard X. We don’t know if he can also become Charizard Y.
– Jirachi (Support Pokémon)
– Whimsicott (Support Pokémon)
As the stream is still going on, Bandai-Namco hasn’t uploaded any official assets (trailer, screenshots and artworks) for now. In the mean time, here’s a recording of both trailers:
