Pokkén Tournament: another livestream on Friday

Developed by Bandai-Namco, and produced by Katsuiro Harada (Producer of the Tekken series), Pokkén Tournament is a traditional 3D fighting game where all the fighters are Pokémon. It will launch this Summer in Japan, in Arcades first (though a home console version is bound to come out later down the line).

But right now, we don’t have the exact release date for the game, even Bandai-Namco’s website indicates it will launch this month. However, it looks like we don’t much longer to wait before we find out, as the launch date will apparently be announced on Friday during a special livestream on NicoNico.

Besides the date, this stream will deliver the very latest information about Pokkén Tournament, including new Pokémon and more. There will also be a tournament between some of the women from the development team. Just like the previous two, this stream will have Aya Sakakibara as the MC.

This Pokkén Tournament stream will take place on NicoNico on July 3rd, at:

– Europe: 1PM
– UK: 12PM
– North America (EDT): 7AM
– North America (PDT): 4AM
– Japan: 8PM

Pokkén Tournament (Arcade) will launch this Summer in Japan.
