Team GO Rocket
Another event centered around Team GO Rocket has been announced. It will take place on November 24th from 11AM to 1PM local time, and will feature the following:
- Team GO Rocket Grunts taking over every PokéStop for the duration of the take-over!
- Exclusive Field Research tasks designed by Professor Willow to help us gather more information on Team GO Rocket.
Here’s what players will have to do during the event:
- Battle Team GO Rocket Grunts, collect Mysterious Components, craft Rocket Radars, and defeat the Team GO Rocket Leaders as many times as you can! Remember—after you craft your first Rocket Radar, you’ll be able to purchase additional Rocket Radars in the shop!
- Complete the tasks above to make progress on the Special Research Looming in the Shadows, which will lead you straight to the Team GO Rocket Boss, Giovanni!

Community Day
The latest Community Day for 2019 is a special 2-day event taking place on December 14th and December 15th.
Here’s all the details:
December 14th – 9AM to 9PM
- Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild: Totodile, Swinub, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Ralts, Slakoth, Trapinch, Bagon, Turtwig, and Chimchar
- Pokémon appearing in raids: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Eevee, Dratini, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Mareep, Larvitar, and Beldum
- Pokémon available to hatch from Eggs: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pikachu, Dratini, Totodile, Mareep, Swinub, Larvitar, Treecko, Torchic, Slakoth, and Bagon
- Evolve for Community Day exclusive moves: Exclusive moves featured during 2018 and 2019 Community Day events will be available again!
December 14th – 11AM to 2PM
- Pokémon appearing even more frequently in the wild: Totodile, Swinub, Treecko, Torchic, Slakoth, and Bagon
- Bonuses: 2× Catch Stardust, 2× Catch XP, and 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during these hours
December 15th – 9AM to 9PM
- Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild: Totodile, Swinub, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Ralts, Slakoth, Trapinch, Bagon, Turtwig, and Chimchar
- Pokémon appearing in raids: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Eevee, Dratini, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Mareep, Larvitar, and Beldum

The Pokémon Company have announced that the Pokémon Center store that was opened in London over the past few weeks got over 30 000 visitors. They have also confirmed that there will be a pop-up store during 2020 Pokémon World Championships, which will be held this Summer.
