Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

Today, it was announced that Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was getting an update pretty soon (this very month). It will fix the following issues found in the game:

fixes occasional game freezes when picking up Litten at the beginning of the game;

fixes glitch making Wide Guard protect against all Z-Moves;

fixes the glitch preventing Ion Deluge from working;

fixes the glitch causing the first move to disappear when a Pokémon with less than 4 moves is taught one at the Move Tutor.

More details about the update will be shared at a later date (when it’s live), and the official patch notes will be added to this page!

Pokémon GO

Yesterday, Niantic shared some details about the upcoming Dynamic Weather feature, that was announced earlier this week. You can check out what the developers had to say about it in this blog post.

And alongside Dynamic Weather, the developers also discussed two upcoming features:

Battle Parties: they will allow players to create and name teams of up to 6 Pokémon, for quick access for Gym Battles and Raid Battles. It will soon enter beta. During the beta phase, battle parties are saved to your device, which is why they need to be reset if you get a new device or play Pokémon GO on more than one device. Of course, that’s just for the beta: once the feature is fully launched, the battle parties will carry over to all your devices;
Increased Pokémon Storage: maximum Pokémon Storage will be increased from 1 000 to 1 500. You will need to purchase Pokémon Storage Upgrades from the in-game shop. The minimum Pokémon Storage size will also be increased, allowing you to carry 50 additional Pokémon.

Those two changes are coming alongside the update, which is now available for Android devices. It requires 24MB of free space. Check out this post for more details about the update!

Pokémon The Movie

Yesterday, it was announced that the very first trailer for the next Pokémon movie, opening in July 2018, will be shown on Monday, during the Oha Star TV show, in Japan.
